I put Romo a level above Dak in the QB argument but he didn’t change the culture either. Romo was a mans man’s man through and through however. I think Romo had a better chance to winning us a Super Bowl than Dak but fact is he didn’t either. Dez caught the ball though! That was our year but the league stepped on our dreams
Dark grew on me, dude can perform a lot of the time, but this running game is weak this season, and as you said, the coaching is bad…..this team doesn’t have enough guys that want it bad enough.
No way, people keep acting like Dak is the problem, he’s not…..he’s one of the only players that consistently produces. Yeah, he has bad game here or there, just like every single other qb….but at the end of the season, hes near the top of the league in numbers….go look at his stats when he has a full season. He put up 30+ and walked all over the Texans D, he’s played well except for the first half against the Bucs, the pics yesterday were off the wr hands……this team sucks because of the head coach, especially because of the D, not running the ball, and the overall lack of players with fight.
Fair.....the opinion is just as subjective as mine. This team is ringless for over 30 years. And the problems are far more glaring and blatant and obvious than the QB comparison........260+ yds rushing, passing and poise by a rookie QB, and Time of Possession dominance again. That is the current state with this team. We facing Jordan Love next game, and we know how he looked a few years ago. It's getting uglier before this team can grab some lipstick to put on the pig. But then again, Romo and now Dak have given us moments to place lipstick on the pig.
In retrospect the Houston Texans that were 0-3 very well could have beaten us too. They just played down to our level. In the first half they were outplaying us. It’s not a good look that a 0-3 team were outplaying us for two quarters and a 0-4 team were outplaying us for all four. Any given Sunday but it’s been some bad football this month!
Based on? Washington moved the ball just as well the 2nd half as they did the first.
Agree.....therein lies the "lipstick on the pig" effect. Offense is the only thing we've got (but it gets inconsistent, fails to execute, calls questionable plays, or bogged down on occasions, like last night). There isn't anything else to marvel at besides Aubrey FG attempts. Everything else is pretty much on ugly side. No offense to the pig.

The Texans defense is a joke, bottom of the league, especially their pass defense.
Part of that is because of us. People blaming Dak as if our coaching and D aren’t atrocious. No QB plays perfect football all game every game…..Dak has looked better this season so far vs Burrow and people hype him like crazy. Josh Allen had a bad game with turnovers recently….yet people expect Dak to be perfect all game every game. Not realistic. If our D was average, we would have won all of our games so far. Not to mention our running game has been weak. Bad coaching, worse D than last year, no run game…..but it’s all Daks fault?
I cannot believe we endured 10 years of garrett. That's where much of my fandom died. I'd say I'm running on about 10% compared to the '90s up to the end of Parcells era. Once he hired Wade Phillips I knew it was back to business as usual and we really squandered what could have been at least one Super Bowl team.
No, it was awful before they played us. Every team they played before us, dog walked them in the 4th to the point they couldn’t stop any team from scoring at the end.
He’s had over a decade. Stop slobbering on your image of him! I get it. He can do no WRONG. The coach definitely is the biggest issue on the team right now but he’s on his 11th season. It’s been beyond time to show RESULTS
