Here is my problem with him and the team.......as a player, an opponent's record should NEVER dictate your preparation. This statement tells me they saw a 0-4 team and thought they could 'walk in and win'. Here's your team leader saying this and I find it hard to believe Schotty didn't see/notice it during practice. Offense, defense, and special teams ( 3rd straight week) all played poorly. SMH.....where is Parcell when ya need him.

“… It’s these kinds of games that you feel like you should just walk in and win. And I guess that some of us may feel that way, that we’ve got to find a way to make them mean just as much as the big games — you get what I'm saying — the teams that have a lot of wins. Because these are the ones that, when we look back at the end of the year and we’re looking at seeding, hell, if we had gotten the game that we were supposed to win, we would be a higher seeding or we’d be better.

While we are here .......look at his contract and tell me if you see the same thing I'm seeing. His $76M cap hit for 2027 will require attention.

***** 2027 salary of $45m is guaranteed
***** Only $17M of the 2028 season is guaranteed by 5th league day 2027
*****$76M cap hit for 2027
*****$131M dead cap hit in 2027.
** Pre-6-1 trade would cost $10M
** Post 6-1 trade would save $45M

Dallas should have cut bait with #4 around the same time Philthy cut bait with Wentz. But Jerry is happy with simply hanging around the rim. He's too comfortable with #4. I'm sure he realizes that #4 will never bring a championship to Dallas, but #4 occasionally makes things interesting and Jerry is fine with that.

Some teams have standards, Jerry doesn't.

Schotty had this team believing they would walk in and beat the 0-4 Bucs because they’re 0-4. Yeah Dak is a POS but he’s being encouraged to speak his mind. The coach probably told them during a practice or meeting that they’re going to wreck the winless Buccaneers.

Feel free to list his accomplishments....
Why would I do that? What would that accomplish? Nah.......Dak has gone from a kid growing up in a trailer park to a $ 60M-a-year NFL starting QB. If you can't see the value/accomplishments......it's not my problem.

Unlike you, I'm looking at more than just stat padding and individual garbage. What has Dak accomplished that puts him more in line with Mahomes, Brady, etc.

Dak’s mental state is concerning, and he is the clear face and leader of the team.

If he takes a team lightly, so will everyone else. It’s clear he expected the W to roll out on a silver platter and is disappointed it didn’t happen— in other words: entitlement.

This team is mentally and physically soft, and teams that are tougher just walk in and take their lunch money whenever they want.

Let me be blunt.......your obsession/hate for Dak makes any debate regarding him with you a waste of time. Nothing I say will change that....I'm done.
