I am really trying to understand our QB

It’s fascinating how the Cowboys have the worst defense in the NFL over the past 2 years and there are people blaming the offense. Juxtapose that with Lions and Bengals also being putrid on defense but those teams know the defense is the problem.

It just blows my mind the lack of awareness of what is happening every single week.

Or are they though? There are people who agree we have the worst defense, but that's not what they are arguing, and made their arguments throughout threads spanning into many years. Just because you see someone criticize the QB, you can't assume that they don't know that the defense is a bigger problem. Each person you would need to know their posting position dating back to 2018 or 2016 and the stances they took in the past and what they have said in the past. Not every person has the exact same position, not everyone was critical at the same time. I mean the stance you are taking is that you believe we can win in the next couple of years, including playoffs. Other people just look at the playoffs, and say we might can squeeze in, but then what.

We have not invested for sure, but not sure if thats the only thing that ails the cowboys.
Troy Aikman was consensus #1 pick.
He also had great coaching staff around him.

Do you think Aikman would have achieved anything with ******** and parker? I seriously doubt it.

We have not invested anything in our coaching staff, with the likes of Gaily, Garrett, Campo, wade, and now ******** and company

Look at what Ben Johnson was able to do in Chicago. Or Campbell in Detroit. Or vrabel in New england..

Good coaching can overcome a lot.

Jerry wants total control of the team with puppet coaches.

Until we fix the culture, even mahomes would fall short here
No argument here, jerry has a history of hiring yes men that will let him meddle in coaching and personnel matters. No doubt the joneses are ultimately responsible for the last 30 years of failure.

At the end of the day, it seems like he was pressing for no reason… he was fighting his demons on what would happen if they lost to a 0-4 team at home… it was in his head.

It’s simple really…great QBs find a way to make plays when it counts at crucial points in the game. Dak does not do this despite having two, legitimate #1 WRs in the offense. He is a system QB who gets paid by Jerry like a franchise QB.
Yes…Dak generates gaudy statistics, but those numbers don’t translate into playoff appearances and wins.

He needs to learn how to control the velocity of his throws, he throws fast balls at wr’s and te’s when u dont need it hence all the awful timing of his int’s.

And with a better QB we could actually compete for a championship which is actually the goal of playing. This is something in 11 years Dak hasn't done and hes had far better teams. He aint the one
IF you can choose (if you're Dak): Money or Championship? Money or STATS? Jerrah or a TRUE GM?(that know ho to build a champion**** team)....In the Jerrah DC it's ALL about numbers!! STATS!!$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$....if me, I choose for less money but MORE championships......DC are NOT a FOOTBALL TEAM......BUSINE$$

Did they? The offense turned over the ball twice, and special teams coughed it up once. Basically the defense was playing against the Bucs Offense, the Cowboys offense and the Cowboys special teams.
Defense also gave up cringe worthy drives that lasted near the entire Qtr. Offense and Defense took turns shooting each other in the foot.

The bad part about Dak last night was that an undrafted rookie QB made more plays than he did to win the game. Dak is an 11yr vet that should have shown little man up.

Yes the defense failed, but the opportunities we did get, we had to punt after dak had one of many bad throws.

I cant believe he is an 11yr vet, and I watched Dak have such a worried or scared look on his face at times during the game, while the "one read and run" kid had the ******* smile on his face all night.

We sucked as a team last night, but this one is on dak in the grand scheme of things. A close game like this, at the end of the day, the ball is still in your hand, leaving your hand, based on the decision you make, that pings in your brain.

Tampa was almost just as bad, but atleast their QB (who looks like he was just called out of a high school 5th period class room to play QB for the bucs) out played dak.

I am really sick of dallas constant QB stupidity. The 20+ years between Dak and Romo, i dont know who was worse.

I have faith that our next 10+ year 4th or 5th round QB is sitting somewhere in a small college, will once again provide false hopieum and divide the fan base of supporters and non supporters.

I dont know if I have another 10+ years of mental for that. And you all know that is what's coming after dak leave, it never stops.
I don't. Am watching less of the game. Not much fun when you expect to lose.

After 11 years and even more choke jobs later, I think we already know and understand the kind of QB he is. The one who will fold like a cheap suit, you know the one you buy downtown by the pound. Which is fine, but you don't pay Nordstrom prices for that kind.

Yes, a huge lack of awareness if you don't comprehend that the O is responsible also.

Have inexplicably bad games against a wounded or compromised opponent. See AZ last year. See GB at home in the playoffs.

You sweep it under the rug because you love him. The rest of us want results.
You right. Because no quartback has bad games. Nope. None lol. Sweep it under the rug lol.s
