2026 NCAA Football Season

Big weekend in Lincoln coming up. Asking the good Lord for a miracle. Time to send Indiana and their smiling coach back home with their first L in quite some time.:facepalm:

Ole Miss if it's in como I feel good. Is a beast
Game is at Ole Miss. They have to go to UGA. They get Texas at home but will still be a big underdog most likely.

We seem to do this every year with Missouri and then they typically fizzle out. I could see them being a 5 loss team, easily. But that might be good enough to keep them in the Top 25, I guess. So I am probably wrong. They are a bottom Top 25 team.

As always, not that this board does or should care, but here are the games I will follow most closely. Chronological, not priority-wise.

  • FSU at Louisville (FSU wife)
  • Iowa at Washington (UW son)
  • Indiana at Nebraska (potentially big game)
  • UNC at Pitt (homer game)
  • ECU vs Rice (homer game)
  • Texas vs Oklahoma (UT daughter)
  • LSU at Kentucky (curious)
  • NDSU at UNLV (slightly possible G6 playoff implications)
  • Georgia at Bama (big game)

Break down that Iowa game for me. I am thinking about going with Washington -2.5

Talk me out of it….

Florida State lost to a bad Louisville team 20 to 44. The are now 3-3 on the year.

It’s amazing how far they have fallen just because their star quarterback messed up his leg a few years ago in the last game of the season and they missed out on the playoffs because of it. Their whole program has subsequently fallen apart.

Sad indeed.

Not sure Louisville is a "bad" team though.
Inconsistent, yes. Losing to NC State was no bueno.
They beat #16 SMU and lost to #8 Ole Miss by 3, so when they play well they are pretty good
They played great last night

It's been a long time since there was this large of a gap between Texas and their main rivals. It's not like Texas is THAT great themselves but OU and A&M are just absolutely garbage and incompetent. They have turned into the bottom-of-the-barrel teams in the conference

And yet watch Texas lose to at least one of them.
