Went to a game at ATT stadium this year and talked about the Cowboys with the locals, one response was “ don’t worry the Cheerleaders won’t let you down”.
Yeah, The 90's had more issues with controversies than we have now.Thugs? What thugs are on the team? You guys love to throw that around loosely.
Funny you think this team is unlikeable but im assuming you had no issue in the 90s rooting for the cocky scum bag thugs who played for this team lol. There was no one more arrogant than Prime or Irvin. You just didn’t didn’t care because they won.
But hopping on a soap box because these guys are “thugs” or bums is silly lol. Just say you don’t like them because they aren’t good.
It for sure is a culture issue but none of will matter if Jerry is around. Mind you people will argue the culture was different in the 90s. It wasn’t. That’s why Jimmy wanted out. Jerry was still trying to meddle because he’s admitted that’s how he runs his “businesses”. The NfL isn’t a traditional business. But you can’t tell him that. There’s no coach that can fix this as long as Jerry is alive. The problem with this team is mostly the culture and the coaching. I think if we brought in an elite coach with power and had a new gm this team would show vast improvement. It sure wouldn't take 31 years to rebuild. Players come here and get absorbed by the culture. Others leave and do better.
For sure and one of them wasn’t winning lol. So yeah he can miss me with the thug talk. Cowboys are so bad right now people are confused on what the issue is. Because they are “unlikeable” lol. Yeah lol.Yeah, The 90's had more issues with controversies than we have now.
The Cowboys would win a Super Bowl within 5 years of Jerry and Stephen being removed from football operations and management. Jerry knows it too, which is why he refuses to do it.The problem with this team is mostly the culture and the coaching. Probably but my only push back is Jerry’s stench is so deep into this franchise it may take awhile to fix this culture. I guess it would depend on who they hired and that person would be allowed to be the CEO.The Cowboys would win a Super Bowl within 5 years of Jerry and Stephen being removed from football operations and management. Jerry knows it too, which is why he refuses to do it.
They all have won prior to coming to the Cowboys. All of these have banners and awards. The culture hurt them not the other way around. They are extremely hateable. Smug arrogant owner, front office, coaching staff and players who act like they’re something special. But in reality they all suck and none of them have won a damn thing on their own
All of these players have been winners since high school. Hell Von Miller is a two time SB champion. Your owner is trash. You guys will blame everyone but that scum bag why is that?Who? Who has won anything? They are all losers. They’ll always be losers. If they happened to have been on a winning team before then they were just along for the ride. Winners don’t let culture or anything keep them from winning. Losers just lay down and take it
And America’s Team of the late 60s and 1970s had some real rascals on it too. It’s just that in the absence of constant social media people didn’t know as much about it. It’s hard for me to say that Clint Murchison was a better human being than Jerry Jones, and years later you read the stories about him and the players around back then. It’s just that the face of the franchise were people like Tom Landry, and Roger Staubach, truly good and decent people, who were also great at their craft.Over 40 years??? So you became a fan when we were winning SBs with a bunch of womanizers and drug users? I can see your disappointment....damn drug testing screwed more than Jerry running off Jimmy and the salary cap!!
Lol...I'm messing around!
I like Ryan Flournoy.I’ve been a fan of this team for over 40 years and I’ve never been more embarrassed than now and it has nothing to do with wins and loses.
No matter what happened on the field there were always players that you knew were good guys, played the game the right way and actually cared.
There is nobody on this team like now.
Maybe it’s a sign of the times and just the way the League is now but it’s quite obvious that the players don’t care about fans and, in fact, actually have disdain for them.
You have an owner who threatened to fire a radio host because he had the nerve to ask him a tough questions; this mindset has permeated down to the players. Two years ago, Diggs told a reporter “Deez Nuts” when his effort was questioned, and rightfully so after refusing to get his nose in there and tackle a guy running upfield, acting like a adolescent child. They drafted a DL who said that he didn’t even like football, he just likes to hit people. They traded for a guy, Gary, who after a game, is jumping around, swearing walking into the tunnel after finally making a few plays while his play has been pedestrian since he got here.
Then you have Dak. Here’s a guy who it should be easy to root for. From his meager upbringing, to his brother, to his injury, to being the starter of the Dallas Cowboys, it’s now obvious that he’s just like all the rest. While his play on the field has always been up and down, the one thing you could say about him was that he was a good guy,
Not anymore.
Leaving his personal life out of this, the idea that he actually told a security guard to get rid of someone who uttered the word embarrassing to him and actually stared the fan down while trying to be a tough guy, is just the icing on the cake. I get it, in the heat of the moment, directly after a tough game, you might not be in the best mood, but it didn’t stop there. He had time to shower and use time during his post game presser and actually went after the guy again; doubling down on his mistake. And add to the fact the organization obliged their pampered “star” quarterback, it speaks volumes of the culture rot imbued at The Star.
The whole team is full of bums, thugs, losers and quitters.
I have been saying all along, we need belichickThe problem with this team is mostly the culture and the coaching. I think if we brought in an elite coach with power and had a new gm this team would show vast improvement. It sure wouldn't take 31 years to rebuild. Yea ........ I wish we had some thugs on this team ........ we have divas and narcissist paying them.Thugs? What thugs are on the team?
Yeah actually I wouldn’t mind a few thugs at linebacker. Mix in some dogs.Yea ........ I wish we had some thugs on this team ........ we have divas.
The point is, winners aren't passive aggressive weaklings easily influenced by others. All of these players have been winners since high school. Hell Von Miller is a two time SB champion. Your owner is trash. You guys will blame everyone but that scum bag why is that?
This is the same guy who paid his illegitimate daughter off to never speak or see him. He’s treated trash better. And you guys wonder what’s wrong with the culture?
Whoa hold up cowboy. NOBODY is excusing Jerry jones. I am rooting for the death of this a hole. No one is confused on why this team is a loser franchise. Or why they are so embarrassing. It’s 1 million percent Jerry. But the players and coaches deserve blame too. Do they have any character? Integrity? Have none of them wanted to win bad enough to say the hell with this and not compromise who they are as people? If they are truly winnersAll of these players have been winners since high school. Hell Von Miller is a two time SB champion. Your owner is trash. You guys will blame everyone but that scum bag why is that?
