Wasn't there like 5 threadsof how Dallas won the trade this off season?

And your point is? I don't care about his little 7 year defense helper with the eagles or his little 6 years in college. His defense has sucked so far, and it may be even worse that last year! So you typing all this jumbo jumbo means nothing in the grand scheme of things. So, now then, lets go blame the players.Hmm. Here are our four DCs since 2020 and the Cowboys defensive ranking in their final year.
Eberflus - Head Coach (32nd)
Quinn - Head Coach (5th)
Zimmer - Head Coach (31st)
Nolan - Head Coach (23rd)
We complained a thousand times about the Cowboys having retreat coaches.
We try to break that trend and the board is full of jokes about him being a kid or playing Nintendo.
This is Parker’s 7th year as an NFL coach and before that he had six years as a college coach.
We turned part of that money into Bland and Ferguson extensions and some other terrible signings. We should have just sat with the picks and drafted the bounty we got with the trade if anything. We need young talent. Not washed up has beens. Our scouting department needs to be gutted. When players are traded for draft picks (I know we got some players) the entire transaction can't be evaluated 14 months later. Judging the defense post Parsons also includes a lot of rookies and new defensive coaching staff.
For the record, the Cowboys won the trade. Getting rid of his contract was a good thing. And having him on the team now wouldn't have made much difference. We weren't significantly better with him.
Parsons was becoming a cancer; hide and try and deny it but it was happeningA cancer?
The emotional ferocity that fans took toward a player who didn’t fit their 1970’s vision of how a football player should “behave”, despite the fact that team leaders back then were doing cocaine and having debauched parties similar to the “White House”, is rich. Imagine if social media was a thing in the 70s and 90s
When a boss and two of his children go on a nationwide press tour, doing good morning America of all place, with all three using the word “control” to publicly describe your contract negotiations, how is a player who is 1st out of 53 supposed to feel?
The first two PR driven contracts that get done, at huge overpays after he’s jettisoned? Luepke and Ferguson. Two guys who will always kiss the ring but fans loved. Shocking I know.
Yeah, then he tries to deflect back to the 70' and 90's to try and say Parsons was just a good old kid having fun. A grown azz man does not lay down on a trainer table during a game. Keep that stuff inside. Parsons was nothing but a damn man child brat.Parsons was becoming a cancer; hide and try and deny it but it was happening
This isn’t just about Micah. This D has been trash since DQ left for Washington. That ill filled day of the GB debacle 3 years ago. In DQ’s final season we finished 5th in yards and 5th in points allowed. Since that season we have finished dead last or 2nd to dead last in all 3 seasons……This isn’t about discussing whether it was a good trade or not. I think we have exhausted that discussion.
No doubt we received much in compensation . But what we have received thus far hasn’t enabled this defense and team to fully recover.
If anything this defense has continued to decline and it’s much worse in last two years than previously with Parsons.
So, do we have to wait another year and draft to begin to recover and rebuild this defense. Do we have the right coaching in place. Was our trade for Q the right use of resources???
Right now I’d argue we have more questions than answers and we haven’t recovered from Parsons trade yet.
And you guys need to stop hating the man who was dealing with an egomaniac owner who weaponized the media against him. He's gone!!! You all need to pull your heads out and stop crying. Let it go!!!!
He's been lying about micah for over a year and dodging facts. Like when he said micah was done podcasting. When the actual context was he said he was done for that year. And he only said it AFTER the trade. That poster intentionally ignores context. Again, says alot about himParsons was becoming a cancer; hide and try and deny it but it was happening
Poor Parsons. Playing in the NFL is not a given. I feel sorry for the brat now that you put it that way. I wish I could feed him some milk and cookies now. That mean Jerra did him wrong, huh.And you guys need to stop hating the man who was dealing with an egomaniac owner who weaponized the media against him.
He was radio silent for over a month while Jerry, Stephen, Charlotte and their media henchmen assassinated his character through a whisper campaign. Anyone here would be looking for a new employer if their boss did that to them.
The fandom has been manipulated constantly since 1993. People want to talk about critical thinking but choose to ignore the massive blue and silver star blocking their own perspective.
And the ridiculous hypocrisy about the podcast is the perfect illustration of what’s wrong with many fans. When Martin and Lee (an OG Hot Boyzz) announced a podcast people lined up to applaud them.
If we had known that we were switching to a 3-4, I would have preferred keeping him. He may have flourished as an OLB and been more effective not having to take on the big guys every playNot defending Zimmer too much, but we lost DeMarcus Lawrence for the season and Micah for part of the season. When Micah came back, we were improved on defense. Not enough for Zimmer to keep his job, but there was a noticeable jump.
Even though he tore his ACL last season for Green Bay, the whole league understands that he's a dynamic player, so I have no doubt we'd be better with him here. How much better is the problem because we also know there are several players we wouldn't have. Before getting rid of Micah, Jerry showed no urgency to put a quality defense around him. So with Mazi Smith at NT instead of Kenny Clark, no trade for Quinnen, etc., I can't say we'd have much more than Micah having to fight through multiple blocks to get pressure on the QB while our secondary gives up quick throws to nullify his pass rush and our DTs get moved out of the way for the running game. ... And that's if he didn't tear his ACL.
So? What’s your point? Is this some attempt at finding an obscure way to complain about something that you can’t even explain?Bottomline remains we haven’t recovered yet from trade.
How anyone can defend our owner is beyond me. Pure homerism is all that makes sense. And you guys need to stop hating the man who was dealing with an egomaniac owner who weaponized the media against him.

His Podcats were annoying. He became a cancer the moment he started sleeping on tables and the sort and needed to be traded then, but that was all on Jerry botched contract negotiatingDumb take and coping to make yourself feel better.
He wasn’t a cancer. Players hold out. Was Joey Porter Jr. a cancer in Pittsburgh?
Players also tear ACLs. It’s part of playing a contact sport.
And all those people that started those threadsWasn't there like 5 threadsof how Dallas won the trade this off season?![]()
I wonder how many of them are still saying we have the worst Defense in the NFL or that it has gotten worse.Stilltheguru started two of them and then went into hiding for two months.Wasn't there like 5 threadsof how Dallas won the trade this off season?![]()
They won’t. They’ve pivoted to claiming Micah was a “cancer” and “football character.”And all those people that started those threadsI wonder how many of them are still saying we have the worst Defense in the NFL or that it has gotten worse.

LOLStilltheguru started two of them and then went into hiding for two months.
I didn't even mention him until I read all the stupid, what its.....you wanna question every decision you ever made. EnjoyAnd you guys need to stop hating the man who was dealing with an egomaniac owner who weaponized the media against him.

That female poster you're giggling with would never agree to a ban bet about that accusation. That's the real lol.
Wrong, because that style of play caught up with him while he was still here.I think it's some fans that can't recover from that trade. Parsons was becoming a cancer in Dallas. On top of that, he was playing out of position, going against much bigger players and getting double teamed....it was just a matter of time before that style of play would catch up with him, and it did, in GB. He hasn't played in about a year, but his trade is the reason we suck. Ok
