Cowboys still haven't recovered from Parsons trade yet

So, this year’s defensive collapse is 100% on Quennin Williams’ defense.

I mean, he gave up 241 rushing yards against the Bucs.

My logic is irrefutable.
The title says we haven’t recovered since the trade but we were an uncompetitive defense with Micah is the point. The playoff game was just proof. No recovery, just still trash since exchanging Micah with the 3 or 4 players we have now. The Defensive coaching is obviously much worse now.

Honestly they haven't recovered from losing Quin. Once quin was gone this defense with or without Micah went to poo

Nope.

We won't know that until 27 and 28, and that's only if Jerry puts more talent on the D.
I don’t make the rules. From what everyone is saying is, if the defense has bad games or underperforms than no player on the defense is awesome.

Sorry

Only bad thing about it possibly taking that long is we will have wasted 3-4 years with Dak in his prime with a good enough offense . Oh well…

This isn’t about discussing whether it was a good trade or not. I think we have exhausted that discussion.

No doubt we received much in compensation . But what we have received thus far hasn’t enabled this defense and team to fully recover.

If anything this defense has continued to decline and it’s much worse in last two years than previously with Parsons.

So, do we have to wait another year and draft to begin to recover and rebuild this defense. Do we have the right coaching in place. Was our trade for Q the right use of resources???

Right now I’d argue we have more questions than answers and we haven’t recovered from Parsons trade yet.
Has GB?

Oh, how we have missed the year-long-injured Micah.

We look pretty good to me outside of our edge guys. Need Lawrence to step up because I think everyone else is who they are.

We wasted that when we drafted Mazi/Schoonmaker/Kelvin. Yes, everyone misses draft picks, but you just cannot miss that many high draft picks and hope to contend for a title.
If we can’t get this defense turned around before Daks contract is up we might as well trade him too for draft picks .

And give him an opportunity to win a championship with another team in better position and more versed in building a defense to compliment before his clock runs out.

Wonder how many first round picks we could get for Prescott?

At his present salary, not sure Dak is even tradeable. 3-5 years ago I think we could've gotten 2 firsts. But, I think that ship has sailed.
