Parker to move from field to coaches booth

Does this actually mean what it appears a lot of people on here think it means?

They said before the season started that they weren’t sure Parker was going to be on the sidelines or in the booth.

Also, this doesn’t mean that Pettine is going to even be in the stadium on game days.

“A lie can make it halfway around the world before the truth can put its pants on.” Mark Twain
This will be a thing to keep an eye on. If Pettine is down on the field with players hes probably your real DC....If hes in the box with CP its probably more of a true advisory role.

Typical Cowboy discipline . Instead of being shown the door , he has to stand in the corner for forty-five minutes and repeat " I shalt not screw up , I shalt not screw up , I shalt not screw up ............

Well it actually makes sense that they will both be in the booth. Think about the logistics of it. This way Petine can help Parker make the calls without the media being all over seeing patine come up to Parker on the sideline
I thought he could do that just by them two being on the headset together. And then my question is if Parker's not down on the field who's relaying this information to the players and other coaches trying to keep everybody on the same page. So that's that's all I'm interested in seeing is how does this communication work?

To be fair, a lot of our successful defenses were called from the booth...as was our SB offenses.

This is like an all time bad week for Parker (at least, optically).

1) Players only meeting
2) An experienced DC hired to 'advise'
3) Moved to the booth

I don't believe they'd fire him mid-season, but the pieces on the board are not looking good for him.
