Free Agent Cbs

Why are we not looking at some unsigned free agents? We can't have Steward, Revel, and Bland on the field at the same time. I think it makes a lot of sense to bring in an experienced veteran. Here's the list

Marshon Lattimore'
Jeff Okudah
Michael Davis
Corey Ballentine
Tre-davieous White - He was dam good last year.....to me this would be the best guy. Pair him with Porter and thats a 100% upgrade at CB1 and CB2.

Hopefully Durant and Porter are fine. Them plus Revel on on the outside, Downs to the slot and Bland to the bench.

They are never benching Bland. Too expensive to sit.

Yeah only for them to not play as they used to, when you come to Dallas you lose all skills you used to have

Except for Okudha, all those guys are old.

White would be an option. He held up pretty well last year for a guy with so many horrible injuries.

Okudha also had an Achilles injury and never seemed to find a place to land.

I’m surprised Jackson’s not already a Cowboy. He was linked to us due to his Philly connection but he was not good last year.

Man, our secondary is well past warm garbage…..Tre White can’t be worse than Bland or revel for gods sake….at this point we have to do something cuz what we have is freakin bad! It’s worth a shot.

Ok smarta--. Tredavieous is unsigned bc he doesn't want to be a back-up. He's 31 and Buffalo went with a youth movement. He was dam good last year and is waiting for the right opportunity.

Besides, we are pretty much playing street trash now. How can that group get any worse?

Once Cobie Durant is healthy Dallas has him opposite Joey Porter and they can put Caleb Downs in the slot.

Then Bland and Revel can be backups as they should be.

If he was so lights out why would he be a back up? Not trying to be smart but just an observation. 32 teams saw him play and maybe handful reached out. If he was so good why would they reach out to make him a back up???

The issue is not going to be solved by a "plug and play" move. This goes much deeper.

This defense needs time to know each other and become cohesive. They are all pretty much strangers to each other.

Just play Speed or Revel.

Bench Steward.

Move Bland to Nickel until Downs can return to that spot.

Is steward really that vital on special teams? These free agents couldn't be worse at CB.
