What I have noticed

I don't watch except to analyze.
I am no longer a fan. I miss almost all of most games, but I could see immediately the changes Schottenheimer had made on offense.
And yet you are posting on a fan site conveying personal observations for fans to read about a team you profess are no longer a fan of.

CowboysZone is a speck within the vast ocean of the internet. Somehow you found your way back here. Welcome back, leeblair.

Schottenheimer has improved the offense by making Dak drop deeper in the pocket this season to try and alleviate his tendency to panic when the pressure is on. Dak now drops about seven yards back immediately on every pass play
It was a very smart coaching move.
The defense is not bad talent wise, but they lack motivation and purpose. There is enough skill on the defensive side of the ball to win a Super Bowl if they feel they have an identity that matters to anyone.
Too much hype has been put on the offense, as if the Cowboys are going to win on offense alone. People forget that these players are human, and if they don't feel appreciated they don't give that extra effort.
The Cowboys still have one glaring problem, but Jerry has added enough talent to the offense to attempt to win in spite of that problem. No quarterback in history has had better weapons than this year's Cowboys, and it would be enough under normal circumstances.
The Buccaneers were able to defend against the Cowboys offense because they knew that the Cowboys receivers run the same routes over and over again.
The Bucs simply sat on those routes and it made defending them much easier.
When the Cowboys defense held the Bucs but the Cowboys offense didn't deliver, frustration and memories of the past set in.
Like I said; the Cowboys still have one glaring problem that they refuse to fix, and even the Cowboys playrrs know it. When the events of the past keep happening again, it's human nature to be frustrated.
Like clock work. The worms show up after a loss.

And its the same crap you always post. Nothing changes.

Are you attending your AA meetings? Checked in with your parole officer?

Lee where you been? I was getting ready to issue an APB for you.
I don't watch much anymore, therefore I don't post. It was getting frustrating seeing every thread moved or deleted, but I really didn't have anything new to say, anyway.
I only posted this time to mention some things I had noticed that Schottenheimer is actually doing well.
Making Dak drop seven yards instead of five gives him a little extra protection and helps alleviate the panic he sometimes suffers from.
And watching how the Bucs cued in on the Cowboys receiver routes was interesting because it's what I would have done. I had noticed what they did- that the Cowboys receivers only run about five different routes, and by sitting on those routes it made the Cowboys offense easier to defend.
Plus, Dak is like Peyton Manning; he will stick to the pass even when the run game is working. These Cowboys are all about stats, not winning.
So the Bucs knew they could play the pass and take a little hit in the run game.

This simple predictive route running is common problem from Garrett/ Kellen days, why the heck it’s not gettting improved, our WRs or QB is the reason ?

I think Kellen did a better job of mixing up the routes, but Dak struggled with interceptions when he did.
Dak lives for receivers being open in the field in the same place every time, bit he seems to struggle when he has to adapt to moving targets.

Looks like the trolls are coming back now since the season is not off to a good start.

Who mentioned his name? Trolls do that. They hear their name and bam!... they appear.

Who's next, MC and MIG? God I hope not. I guess if Captain-Crash is allowed to troll and derail threads here right in front of the staff's noses, I guess everyone should be able to.

Welcome back, troll! :)

True , he let the ball go only after visible separation or possibility of separation.

Yeah, according to some of you I was a troll when I said Garrett was a bad coach,a troll when I sid Marion Barber was a joke, and a troll when I said nothing would change when Garrett left because Dak is Garrett 2.0.
I was a troll because I have been correct every time.
Maybe some of you don't understand the word.

LMAO! You were correct all the time? Okay, I'll add "narcissistic" troll to your resume.

ok i wont blame the whole "the offense is doing worse" stats all on Dak, we do have an OC who looks at both Lamb and Pickens and says "nah, we ll play Furgeson" so there is that on why the offense is doing worse.

but the rest of the post is off.
