Twitter: Do the Cowboys have the worst home crowd in the NFL?

54-29-1 record at AT&T from the 2016 season through today. Easily in the top ten in the NFL over the past decade.

This isn't new. Back in the 80s they called us the "Wine and Cheese" crowd. because of how laid back we were. I remember being able to sleep through some games as a toddler in Texas Stadium.
Didn't Hollywood Henderson say the entire atmosphere changed back when they moved from the Cotton Bowl to Texas Stadium.

Dont expect an Atlanta Falcons game experience at AT&T. Just observe the game like your trying to watch paint dry.

I've been to Arrowhead, Lambeau, and Mile High and never noticed an appreciable difference to Texas Stadium or AT&T.

There is no way this is accurate - i lived in Baltimore for a decade and went to many Ravens games and their were points my head was vibrating from how loud it was esp on third down situations. - and the Ravens stadium is a middle of the road sound venue.

Ive been to 3 games at atat and cant twll you how many times I got up to cheer at situational points and looked around only to see people seated staring up at the scoreboard.

I call total bs on your statement - ive seen better engagment and noise at bal, clt, was, and ny than ive seen in our home games....the crowd doesnt know when to cheer and when to be quiet - see and be seen is it

My one game experience at the stadium, it was really hard to tell if my yelling was making any difference.

The shear size of void we were yelling into made it feel pointless.

There is a decibel meter on the score board but there is nothing to tell if the effort is working?
The building is not built to maximize crowd noise. Not like seattle's et al
Actually it was supposed to be designed like Seattle stadium to funnel the noise down to the field. Kerry said they even went to and talked to different stadium designs.

So siting in the upper sections you do not hear the nose as you do in the lower levels.
I been to many games where it was very loud.

However, it was supposed to be designed that way. But seems it did not work out very well as they wanted. As mentioned the size and void negates what they were trying to accomplish.

Sorry, it's the truth.

That includes over 5 times being at Arrowhead.

Sorry not buying it both from my own experienxe and the many more documented examples (reference the 142 db record at Arrowhead) that illustrate how weak the fan engament is at atat.

Egads. Nothing like a winning attitude and winning ways to get the home crowd excited.
If anyone is concerned about opponents' fans filling up AT&T stadium, remember that the metroplex is full of snowbirds and relocated fans.

I have been to exactly THREE NFL games. Two of those were Cowboys games and the other had a family member playing near where I lived at the time (Browns at Broncos). Of my two Cowboys games, one was at Texas Stadium during it's final year and the other was at AT&T Stadium in it's first year (Still called Cowboys Stadium back then). Sadly, we lost both games...

It was a long time ago, but the home crowd was awful, and stupid. They got loud when we are on offense and deathly quiet when we were on defense. There was even a pre-game video on the BIG-board explaining when to be loud and when to be quiet. Interestingly, that video featured Keith Brooking.

Yes we do have the worst home crowd, Zero aggresiveness whatsoever!!!

I kept thinking against Tampa why the hell is it so quiet while we are on D. I realize they suck but the 12th man can be real.
I’ve been to Raymond James Stadium four times, always in Sept or early Oct. 90+ degrees and 90% humidity in an open stadium and full sun can suck the life out of you before halftime.

Yes, it’s bad. I don’t think the majority of Cowboy fans who attend games at AT&T are diehards. Maybe it’s just one of the downstream effects of having so many out of state transplants in DFW

Because there’s a lot of rich people there just to be seen and to socialize. When the cowboys used to play the raiders in LA that was a cowboys home game. Even when they play the niners it’s like 60/40crowd. The game Romo injured his lung and went back in and they won in overtime, that game was insane for cowboys fans. So much noise that niner fans actually couldn’t be heard in person
