This is a really sad post. I'm sorry that you've been so wrong about everything. Turning to cheap insults as you've done shows really weak character. I feel sorry for you.

I think Milton is pretty good as well with a high ceiling.. He did good in his one NFL game with the patriots, and looked way better than an average backup playing with scrubs in the pre season.. Letting him walk was ludicrous considering Dak's mental makeup, speed, durability is diminishing.... Absolute idiotic front office we have..

You insulted me because I said Joe Milton is better than you made him out to be. Let's review that for a minute... you insulted me first.... I checked your coward *** for insulting me, then you turn into a Karen and said "turning to cheap insults shows weak character".

Our backup QB seems to manage an offense better than Quack errr I mean Dak. Went back to watch Sam Howle games and that's what I saw. I gotz a funny feeling if Howle would play an entire game with the Cowboys starters Quack would not get his job back.

I have watched alot of Qb player over the years and personally even though he was far from perfect I saw great upside with Milton in the preseason... I'm out on Dak because I have seen enough of his deer in the headlights and his inability to have what I consider Elite Qb composer... Having said that, If Milton does indeed get chance with Philly and does great, I believe that may be the total nail in the coffin for me as a fan. Each and every year my enthusiasm lessens.

If you were like me and liked what you saw from Milton and wanted to see him get a real chance, how would you feel if Milton became a star in Philly? Hypothetically that is??? I would be happy for Joe quite honestly, but I'm sure Jerrah would spin it on how much he loves him some Dak and happy for Milton, YADA YADA...

And if that happened, that would be great for the Cowboys, but here's the problem with people falling in love with backup quarterbacks....

Why is Sam Howell a backup? I love his game, but why is he a backup? He's played for multiple teams as a backup now, so what do you see in him that all the other GMs in the league didn't?

Do you have some sort of eye for quarterback talent that all the NFL GMs don't?

My original point was if milton gets a chance in Philly and looks really good, we're all gonna be a bit sick. Worst case scenario does indeed have a chance of coming true. Milton did look really good at times for us and the patriots. Look, I saw good upside with him and none with dak, we really have no better options and for whatever reason as fans we're too conditioned to not roll with young inexperienced guys which has been our downfall. the rest of the season would of been a great barometer to see if he is a diamond in the rough. Sam Howell has a much lower ceiling in my opinion.

Don't see how that can be true. Milton is a better athlete, Howell is a better QB. Howell has been rated higher than Milton from the start. What makes you give Howell a lower ceiling?

Athletic Qb's with strong arms and that can scrabble is all you are seeing these days. I know Howell can run too but he isn't quite the athlete in my opinion. I thought Howell and Milton looked pretty even in pre season, but again, just see more potential with Milton...

Not really, everyone has their pet cat, or guys they route for.. I'm not the only person that loved what they saw from Joe this pre season, hell most of the forum was shocked when he was cut... I actually believe lots of folks are this forum are more likely to parrot what everyone else is saying and scared to have their own thoughts.. Good riddance Joe, yada yada yada..
