Another wasted year

Oh my gosh. That's all I got is....oh my gosh. This coaching is good? This oline is good? This run game is good? The penalties are good? The drops and slips are good? The clock management is good? The 3rd down defense is good? I could go on, but I'm not sure what team you are watching through 6 games!
Again, the coaches, every offensive coach he's ever had, is limited to what he can do. Sure shoddy is a bad coach. I've been saying that since they hired him. But the fact is, dak limits coaches, so much, it's unbelievable. If you don't see that I can't help you.
Because I assure you, defensive coordinators are starting to figure it out.

There is time if they just play better. But we clearly need an entire off season of more FA additions and draft picks to make the defense middle of the pack.
No question the secondary is under staffed. But that answer the surprise question; what happened to the offense? We spent years ignoring the defense and building the offense. Offensive line is loaded with 1st round talent, WR two of the best. RB are questionable as is TE. I can't really see the game well I watch on an IPad but are the players hustling?

Dak is certainly not the best ..but how can a team field a top 5 offense on an annual basis with a QB as bad as you're making Dak out to be?

We were able to stop the run tonight forced a few 3 and outs.

Secondary looks horrible still. But still a ton of injuries in secondary. Team doesn't have the personnel to run what CP wants to run.

The Offene though.

People will blame Dak, and he played poorly. I do think that shot to rubs effected him.

The problem though is coaching and play design.

We compress the field. Large % of runs (not that we even try to run) are between the tackles. We dont attack the edges and force defenses to spread out. Its all right in middle of field

We have too much talent on offense to be playing so poorly. I think Shotty has lost this team.

Another wasted year.
Do you guys not fail to consider Dak has been here 12 years and all the coaches are carry-overs, meaning it’s about FAMILIARITY with him. This organization has invested heavily in catering to Dak’s SKILL-SET. They run what is suited to him.

How many times are you going to blame the coaches? Dak dropped into a dream scenario for any average QB.

I remember Jerry wouldn’t even sit him when Dallas was mathematically eliminated or already in the playoffs, while they would sit Zeke and Jerry would say that it was essential for Dak’s learning.

Because the players around Dak were not as bad as his fanboys make it out to be..

Being able to run the ball for 4 yards a carry would fix a lot of what ails this team....including the defense...is the QB the reason we can't run the ball?

Eh partly. Doesn't mean Dallas facing a team with 3 starters out on DL ran the ball 11 whole times. Doesn't answer why coming into game Dallas averaged 21 runs per game and last year alone they averaged 27.

Big Mike and the wonder kid Jellen Moore both had different offense systems.

Doesn't answer how coming into this year has been one of best QBs against blitz and this year he cant fugure it out.

Sure he olayed terrible last night, but lets not prtend the play calling has helped him any.

After 11 years. Sure are some smart DCs out there.

Mike was limited? Yet he went 10_6 3 years straight. Guess DCs just hadn't caught on yet.

9-13-1
Shottys record
29 points over last 2 games 7th lowest 2 game output in team history.
1-7 on Prime time games under Schotty
Something like 2-7 following a win.

Also. Consider a HC job entails a metric ton more than calling plays..

For one every couple years we change systems and play callers
Teams as a rule overspend on offense and let defense suffer, depending
on coordinators, so please note what happens when we face decent teams.

Check the opposition Mike faced and Dak has faced in the east year after year, 4-6 gimmie games every year.

[Cowboys Due Diligence] Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys front office is paying their head coach the same contract they paid Bill Parcells over 20 years ago.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer signed a four-year contract worth approximately $4.5 million annually when he was named head coach on January 24, 2025.
Bill Parcells signed an initial 4-year, $17.1 million contract (roughly $4.275 million to $4.5 million per season) with the Dallas Cowboys in January 2003 to become the team's head coach.
For comparison, Ben Johnson's contract with the Bears is for 5 years, $65 million. $13 million per year.

It's not hard to pinpoint why the Cowboys suck. The owner is too cheap to pay a good head coach.

On the one hand you’re right on the other hand they play in a lousy division for the taking .
Even as banged up as Philly is they should be favored over Dallas next MNF . I understand the mediocrity involved .
Im not interested in limping into the playoffs and one and done so that Jerry snd Schotty and Dak can say the usual cliches

They need to be slapped silly starting with Jerry
