Anyone want to join me on the Ronald Leary bandwagon?

As I've said in other threads, I honestly believe Leary will set the left side of the line for the foreseeable future. He has all the physical tools needed, I've just been waiting for it to "click" with him. For comparison sake, here are his combine numbers as compared to Warmack's and Cooper's:

LOL not sure we have a choice not to be on his bandwagon. I hope he plays well and takes the spot so it is not a question moving forward. I'm hoping there are some good guards cut before the season starts that the team can pickup.

I'm all in on the Leary bandwagon. I think he is almost a lock to be the starting LG if he stays healthy throughout the pre-season.

Ha, you can accept that he will likely be the starter and not necessarily be on his "bandwagon."

That is true. I'm on the Cowboys bandwagon and very few players bandwagon so to speak. Meaning if the majority of the players on the roster were to switch teams then I'd stop having an interest in them.

The issue with Leary was more on the mental side last year, am I right? Physically, he seems to have about everything you would want in an interior linemen.

I think that would be fair, but I'm certain an offseason with Mike Woicik certainly didn't hurt him.

He seems to "get it" now, just from the TC reports. I liked the Leary signing from day one so I hope (and truly believe) he will work out as a starter.

As bad as i want him to be a solution and key piece, not until I see marked improvement from last year.

All these terrific improvements to the roster won't mean a thing if this interior offensive line isn't sorted out. Need to sign someone or trade a player from a position of strength to someone who has depth at guard.

I think Costa can be a good player but I'm hoping he can play RG. It would be nice if we've solidified our interior OL with young talent in Leary, Fred, Costa. It's still just wishful thinking at the moment.

I am on his bandwagon. I like the idea of a smashmouth guard playing alongside our smashmouth center.

I really hope he shows something. That would be a really young sideof the line with Frederick and Smith on there.

First off, great idea for a thread title. And yes, I am most definitely on the bandwagon and rooting for Leary. And so far, so good from what I've read. Any good news about the offensive line is good news to me!
