All I know is I am definitely done with any semblance of an idea which places Nate Livings as the starting LG. Leary is the man and should be the man from here on out. Doesn't hurt that he played well tonight, and even though it's just the first pre-season game and they weren't playing against All-pros, pretty sure Soliai and Wake were out there that first series and pretty sure we ran the ball well that first series (esp to the left side), so I think the potential is there and will only get better as time goes on.
Im hoping to see a starting O-Line as such: LT-Tron LG- Leary C- Frederick RG- Bernadeau RT- Free. Backups will be Parnell, Costa, Arkin, and most likely Nate Livings simply due to the cap hit we would take if we cut him. Makes no sense to release him if it's gonna cost us 1.7 mil against the cap, might as well stock him as depth even though I really don't like keeping a guy for Monetary reasons esp when I don't see him being nearly as "effective" as he was last season with those shaky knees...
Kowalski gets the boot unfortunately; the guy is just too fragile and his performance in the Scrimmage made it seem like he might not be the guy we all thought he was. I would be happy to see Killer get a roster spot over Livings though so hopefully JG deems Killer's youth and overall gritty, tough mentality more valuable than Livings contract...
