Browns looking to trade DTs

who exactly do they have thats any good???

their depth chart hardly looks like a who's who of pro bowl players.
 
Phil Taylor is a stud, Billy Winn is a second year guy out of Boise who most had higher rated than our own Tyrone Crawford.

Ahtyba Rubin is a very good player who could lock down the middle of the Dline and is very expensive player. They could look at trading him to also free up cap room next year.
Billy Winn is another I really like but no way they trade him still on his rookie contract.
 
Well, we're having problems at G so that's a little issue. Not sure we want to get rid of Tanner or Randle but I guess I could be persuaded to give one up. I'll just find another backup to the backup although might be hard to match either of those. You can probably write Livings off their list since he's likely off ours, too. I haven't seen enough of Arkin or Ski to say much. I'm sure the Boys have film on them to share with others. Not so sure if I was GM I'd be wanting to get rid of either right this moment.

I'm also not sure we are lite at DT although I admit the DL has me concerned a bit.

Interesting thread though.
 
we dont have starting guards for ourselves..you think the browns want our trash at guard? lol
 
PS: Not sure about posting article to ESPN insider since many don't have a subscription. Can the OP give us a summary of what's in the article?

i dont think they're going to trade their starters though in all reality, i was looking at their depth/backups
 
I'd be willing to part with Costa, Arkin, Kowalski. Maybe they think some of those guys can be starters. I mean Costa starter an entire season. We were gonna go with him as our starter if we didn't draft Frederick.

The Cleveland Browns haven't been burdened with an overabundance of talent in recent years. The difference with this year's squad is the talent it currently has along its defensive line. Teams are inquiring about said talent, and the Browns are fielding trade offers.

"One area I'd expect some trade activity: Browns interior DLs. Lot of depth there on back end. Heard several teams have called and inquired," Ian Rapoport of NFL.com tweeted.

Cleveland already attempted to make a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. The Browns sent defensive lineman Brian Sanford in exchange for guard John Moffitt. Moffitt didn't pass a physical in Cleveland, and the deal was nixed.

Desmond Bryant, Phil Taylor and Ahtyba Rubin comprise the team's starting defensive line.Billy Winn and John Hughes are the team's top options in the rotation. Ishmaa'ily Kitchen, seventh round selection Armonty Bryant and Sanford could all be available for the right price. Sanford may not even make the squad as evidenced by the team's willingness to trade him earlier.

The Browns are primarily searching for help at guard and running back. Injuries to Dion Lewis, Shawn Lauvao and Jason Pinkston have severely hurt the team's depth at both positions.

Ruben might be a "starter" on the depth but they want Winn and Bryant to be the 3-4 DE starters. Rubin doesn't fit the 3-4. He was a very good player in the 4-3.
