The band with the greatest gimmick in rock and roll history has another trick up its sleeve.
The L.A. KISS — owned by the legendary rock band — of the Arena Football League has extended a three-year deal to Broncos, Jets and Patriots castoff Tim Tebow.

Gene Simmons & Co., know a little something about publicity stunts — and making a buck — and the KISS bassist doesn’t try to hide the fact that that’s part of the strategy in reaching out to Tebow.
“Acquiring Tebow would not only be a great investment for the team, but his exciting style of play would definitely send shockwaves through the League,” Simmons said in a press release issued by the club. “We’re excited for the opportunity to see him with an LA KISS uniform on, and for the LA KISS fans to be rockin’ their Tebow shirts and jerseys.”
