The Chiefs won 2 games last year. They beat the Jags last week. Probably the only team worse than them last year. And all of a sudden they are going to the Super Bowl because they got Alex Smith and Andy Reid. Can someone please do the heimlick on me, I'm choking. I think I just spit my Milk out.....Everyone and their moms are picking the Chiefs.

I somewhat agree but I am a little more conservative on the road....Dallas 27, KC 20

I agree but I also think they are going to prove to be much improved from last year. If Dallas cannot go in there and win by 10, then Dallas is not any better than last year and it will be a long season.

Teams do turn it around, Game 2 last year is a close example---2011 Seahawks at 7-9, Did the Cowboys go into that game respecting them? Their level of play didn't indicate it. Go into the game fully respecting your opponent in the NFL.

Defensively I feel KC has added some nice pieces and their front 7 is solid in my opinion. The defense was exposed due to a very crappy offense. QB play was not good and I don't think their best offensive weapons were used correctly and if I recall I think Charles was out a bunch? The defense is still there. What has improved is the QB position, the HC and with that probably a better culture is being established.

I think KC has improved and can present a challenge. I'm treating this game like a divisional game largely because of Reid. KC is not going to the Superbowl. In a weak AFC conference they might be in the mix for a wild card. I think they can present a challenge for us and we are going to need to execute. A turnover in their house early could be deadly, giving them confidence and the crowd behind them. Dallas needs to bring its lunchbox and get to work.

I like Dallas' chances.
But let's not fall into that trap of judging last years' KC team to this year's.
I mean come on; new culture, new attitude, new coach, new QB, and some nice player additions. I lineup of underachieving pro bowl talent.
We have a near identical comparison two years ago in San Francisco.

I'm right there with you bro! Chiefs suck! I'll eat my hat if they win

At least there aren't too many picking KC in the CBZ.

I'll start a poll though.

Like your confidence but a little much IMO, This KC team has 5 pro bowlers on defense, a great running game with Jamal Charles and Dwayne Bowe on the outside....they suffered last year primarily due to a Wade Phillips (Coach Cupcake) type HC and bad QB......inter Andy Reid and Alex Smith.....and this chief team is a playoff contender. This game will be a nail bitter......with playing outdoors on grass and 50% chance of showers......the game will come down to defense and the running game....

I'll take Monte Kiffen and Big ROD's defense to save the day and pick the Cowboys in a close one.....16-13 (a game of field goals) predict an UGLY game but a WIN is a WIN and Cowboys come back home 2-0 leading the NFC East.

I can see them sneaking in as a wildcard because after the top teams because the AFC is pretty weak. They will wont win their division.

They have a lot of good players on their defense(even pro bowlers).i think its a close game too.

I think that it's going to be a tough game, but honestly I thought that the Giants presented worse matchup problems for us than the Chiefs do across the board. We'll see.

We need to win this game so I can stop hearing about how Philly is going to be leading the division after Week 2.

LETS GO BOYS

Chiefs are favored by 3 points. This will be a tough game.

The Dolphins went 1-15 in 2007. Hired Sporano, and went 11-5 winning the AFC East in 2008.

Teams can go from one extreme to the next.

This game won't be a gimme.

i don't think the cowboys are capable of beating anyone by more than 10. they will shoot themselves in the foot enough times to keep it close. 24-20 cowboys.

One off season and now the Chiefs have become this unmovable force. Nobody can score on them! Alex Smith MVP!

Give me a break. They are improved. The stadium is loud. Reid is a good coach, but come on.

Seattle sucked in 2011. All they did was add Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson and they humiliated us.

I've got the Cowboys winning but certainly not in convincing fashion.

I think it will be a typical one possession game which is the norm in the NFL.

It's highly unlikely that we get a bunch of turnovers like we did last week. Alex Smith knows how to protect the ball and Jamal Charles is hands down a better running back than Wilson.

Plus I worry about Free against the Chiefs speed rushers.

I like the Cowboys winning this one in a 23-17 type of game.
