The Chiefs won 2 games last year. They beat the Jags last week. Probably the only team worse than them last year. And all of a sudden they are going to the Super Bowl because they got Alex Smith and Andy Reid. Can someone please do the heimlick on me, I'm choking. I think I just spit my Milk out.....Everyone and their moms are picking the Chiefs.

Trey Wingo and Mark "Stink" Schlereth were making there picks on Cowherd's show yesterday and both were asked to pick the game. Without hesitation and at the very same time, Trey and Mark both said, "Chiefs!"

I guess we'll see.

i don't think the cowboys are capable of beating anyone by more than 10. they will shoot themselves in the foot enough times to keep it close. 24-20 cowboys.

They'll beat some teams by double-digits but they aren't some uber-talented team that many of our fans believe.

Who was picking them to go t the Super Bowl? I thought I made a bold pick last week when I said they would make the playoffs... The AFC is kind of down this year, I think the Broncos,Bengals and Texans are the 3 best teams but all can be beat.

They had no QB and a worse HC. This isnt a 2-14 team. It will be a close high scoring game IMO.

I'm in the camp that thinks KC will contend for a playoff spot in a weak AFC, but I guess I can't blame people for wanting to see them against teams better than the Jaguars. But you just can't win in this league with complete garbage at QB, and we've seen repeatedly over the last few years the kind of improvement a solid upgrade at QB can make. I'd be quite surprised if they didn't go at least 8-8.

Those with money invested seem to like KC in a close - we'll see. I think it will be a very close game whoever wins - very low chance of a blowout. My gut is Chiefs 20-17, but I see it as basically a coin-flip game. If the Cowboys win by 7+ points, I will be very impressed. But any win is just fine with me.

Cassel had 27 TD's and went to the pro bowl a few years ago. Let's not pretend he was completely incapable or that there weren't plenty of other issues with the team.

Cassel only played half the season.

In addition, outside of that 1 good year he hasn't come close to doing anything. That was clearly a year where he overachieved big time. I think the other 3 years of his career in KC where he sucked are better indicators of what kind of QB he is. He actually accounted for 6 of those 8 TDs so at least he can say he's better than Brady Quinn.

Seattle sucked in 2011. All they did was add Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson and they humiliated us.

I didn't say he was good, I said he was capable. He certainly is good enough to go better than 2-14 (or whatever his record was last year) with a solid team around him.

I don't think it's a gimme. I think we are that much better than them. They have a good RB and a decent OL. THAT'S IT!!! A coach who was fired because he couldn't get it done, a WR who can't catch, and a QB who if you hit hard will give up....We should win...
