I say we start Scandrick and put BW webb in the slot bring Barry church down on the TE and put Claiborne at FS during passing downs .
Claiborne is costing us football games . I don't care what we invested in him , we have to win now .

I dont know. Scandrick doesnt remind me of Mel Blount in any way, shape or form. I dont have the answer to your question. But I bet some others do.

Scndrick alreay is the starter, but Webb isn't ready to pla the slot. so Scandrick moves to the slot and Mo comes in at thecorner and gets targeted the minute that te QB sees him. Thereare several artcles alluding to this.

I thought corners weren't that important in this defense. I read that on here numerous times

Claiborne is killing us. More than any other single player on the team. Perhaps a not very bright guy should have been out there practicing instead of sitting out the preseason with owies.

A huge first round move up bust

Do people even watch the games or read about the team?

Mo hasn't started in two games. When they go 3 corners they bring him in and put Scandrick back in the slot because they don't trust BW yet.

According to this article, Claiborne, has lost his starting position due to injury.

Claiborne lost the starting job to Orlando Scandrick because of a shoulder injury, but he's continuing to play through the injury on passing downs and when offenses line up with three receivers.

what a pathetic draft pick he's turned out to be.

I thought he would be on par with Newman, and we reached for him, but dang. I'll be happy if he reaches anthony henry level at this point.

2 season with 2 different schemes. He's basically a rookie all over again. I know he'll eventually come around and play to his full potential.

I meant playing on the outside . Typically the two players playing outside CB are your starters . Maybe move MO in slot . Scandrick is much better than Claiborne outside .

Scandrick starts on the outside in 2 wr sets.

You don't move Mo to the slot and have him learn a 3rd position.

You don't expose BW who isn't ready.

We have Oscan and Carr as our starting cbs in 2 wr sets....but on 3 wr sets the best combination has Mo on the outside. Just where we are.

I don't know I just don't think BW Webb is any worse than Claiborne at this point . I'm not buying it . I doubt it gives us the best chance to win I think it's more about trying to protect an investment . I was at the game yesterday and Claiborne gets beat every single time without even being competitive . MO is costing us football games

I see no evidence of this team protecting investments.

Carter has been benched. Mo himself has been benched. Mack who was a free agent signing has been benched. Will Allen a vet has been benched. Wilber was a draft pick and he's on the bench behind street free agents.

This team for better or for worse is playing it's best players.

Dez had high praise for Mo in camp, I gotta think this shoulder injury has really affected his play moreso than that Mo is a bust. I sure hope he starts playing better.
