Hayden hasnt done enough to impress me just yet. Selvie is my biggest surprise player this year though. I was a big fan since he started beasting it in preseason

I agree... They've been asked to do more then they were brought in to do. Can't say I'm not happy with their play.

They've been great given the circumstances and should be contributors for a while. With that said, I hope neither are relied to be starters next year.

I agree. Given the circumstance, the they are both admirably playing above their pay grades. They will receive a major test this week against Philly.

I think George and Nick have done a very admirable job for us.

Selvie had played really well. The Golden Cock has had his moments. I'm pleased with their play.

I thought Drake Nevis played well too. I know he drew a hold and got a few good pressures.

he was getting a push ...strong like bull.

is there anyway hatcher could be moved back to defensive end with the loss of ware and spencer?

he's tearing it up where he is...but rayford does not look very good out there.

I like Selvie but I think Hayden has played better between the two. Hayden looks like he has earned a starting job next year, Selvie looks like a great backup IMO.

I for one would like to try this out. I believe in Nevis and Hayden stopping the run and hopefully they can get enough pressure on passing downs. I don't know if I'm banking on Kyle Wilber/Ceaser Rayford up against Jason Peters for a full game. That has 200 yard rushing game all over it.

Solid rotation players. The guys you always want to replace as starters, but want to keep around because of their hustle and ability to contributed.

I was wondering the same thing about Hatcher, move him back to D End

Word?

Hayden offers very little as a pass rusher. He's strictly a two down player from what I've seen.

Selvie has been great, although I didn't notice him that much yesterday. Probably because I was trying to watch Drake Nevis every snap.

Two players that have no business starting and still playing above expectations to contribute 5 games in. I'll take it if they don't make another play this season.

I like Hatcher right where he is...if the back-ups can just contain on the outside, Hatch & company apply the pressure up he middle....if Vick plays, they MUST keep him in the pocket
