I hate when the Cowboys get ready to play someone and analyst always say "What should the Cowboys be worried about?", no matter how bad the team we're about to play may be they make it seem like they're pro bowlers. They also have a tendency to make whatever injury the Boys have seem devastating no matter how insignificant the player is.

I was watching NFL Total Access and they were talking about how the Cowboys are going to have problems with Stafford & Megatron, yet they never touched on the problems the Lions D will have against Dez, Williams, Witten, Beasley & Harris. Honestly the Cowboys can win this game if they just shut down the running game, but the Lions have a lot more to deal with imo.

They don't know any thing about the Cowboys .It's like bro I have watched every game and every play by this team for the last decade. So, don't try and tell me about my Dallas Cowboys. Go suck off Brady and Bellick some more.

I don't get too worked up by what ANYONE says. Play the game and let the chips fall where they may. I never understood why people get so riled upover the small stuff, especially Chris Berman and the rest of the ESPN crew.

Who gives a rats ***. Seriously.

Anyways, carry on. ;)

NFL Matchup blew off the Cowboys this week....all Stafford n Megatron.

I don't like it. Nobody knows a team like it's die hard fans. Whatever team it is.

to espn....pfffffftttt....thanx for the scrolling scores on the bottom and the occasional college football game....otherwise, ****....

I don't know about that... Im watching it right now and they seem to be getting equal love. But to be fair, we have a long history of disappointing analysts every time they pick us. Seriously, whenever they start loving on us we blow out a stinker in that weeks game.. I can't figure it out. I think if we just stay away from our own hype and keep playing like the underdogs, we will do better.

I'm more interested in a real analytical perspective and hopefully an open minded to point the strengths and weaknesses.

I think this is the issue that Fox Sports is going to face in their attempt to overtake ESPN as the 'sports leader.'

All of the analysis is the same and there is nothing to separate one 'analyst' versus another 'analyst.'

How many times do we have to hear that the gameplan is to 'get pressure on Romo?'

Really?

Doesn't that apply to every QB that has ever played the game?

I don't watch any of it!

Yeah me either. I used to watch pregame shows and the hype. It's all garbage now.

Even NFL Network which should set the standard in good reporting of the sport is TMZ-like trash now.

The only decent show is Inside the NFL on Showtime during the week

No kidding. It like we have to have thread after thread about "media perception" as if it somehow effects the outcome of the game. It has no bearing on anything whatsoever.

I swear some fans want to win the "media batte" more than they want to win the game.

...and by the same token, I really could care less when the media picks us to actually win a game. Opinions are just that. Now, if I open a can of PBR and it's flat, then we got some problems.

I never watch that stuff unless it's unavoidable while waiting for a game to start. Well, except for Playbook NFC. Generally, everything you need to know will be here at the Zone and over at BTB and the Cowboys' website.

Exactly. It would impossible for me to care any less about any of these shows.

Unless they start picking games against the spread, then I'd be watching.

Yeah I watched and saw Marshall Faulk mention that this game like all games comes down to Romo and not making mistakes. He said if Romo hadn't thrown those 2 INTs against Philly, the Cowboys would have blown out Philly. Well this tells me Faulk wasn't watching that game because if he had he would have know that 1 of Tony's INTs was a hail mary that went right through Dez's fingers and the other INT was when Tanner brought his defender into the passing lane when he was supposed to run to the outside.

Until the team learns how to win again..win division titles and have a realistic shot at World Titles again..

The media will play follow the leader.

That means..RGIII..Commanders, Iggles and Giants and Michael Vick.

We are a team known for choking, losing and stepping back from success.

Whatever.

No...I stopped watching them a long time ago. I get my news here at the Zone from people who know the Cowboys, and then I just watch the game.

Yes. You are the only one. :)

Actually I don't care too much. I just change the channel if I don't like it. But I understand where you're coming from. Some I just can't listen to.
