Jerry Jones to make more sideline trips?

I wonder if Jerry just wants to stand on the sideline during home games or if he'd do it at say Philly where he could get a AAA battery upside the head?

Dude, my buddy is a Philly fan and has season tickets and he says "The Link" (Lincoln Financial Field) is practically like a morgue now. They have lost like 12 or something straight home games, a new franchise record.

Jerry could stand on the sideline and listen to the PA announcer because its like a freaking ghost town it that place now.................LOL

Why anyone refuses to see this is very astounding, talking Fans....because former Coaches and Players who have played for this Franchise and played against them already come out year after year around the entire Nation and state that Jerry Jones is/was/will be the issue with the Dallas Cowboys.

It's a National SnL skit joke ...really! To continue seeing people who can't fathom the truth of ineptitude and grand standing behavior that directly leads to what we are facing after 18 consecutive seasons.

Jason Garrett has to be seen as lord of that sideline. There can't be any question who makes the calls, nor should he allow any player to challenge any decision he makes. Instead, Garrett isn't even in charge of his own sideline. He has a clown who hops down there occasionally to exhort the team on, tell Garrett who he has to get out of the game and so forth. Which just solidifies to all the players who they're really accountable to. I've no doubt there are players who can call Jones direct if they don't like the way things are going with the coaching staff. Jones has an established history of that.

What's stupid is how people don't see how things like this matter.

I like seeing Jerry on the sidelines and at the end of the day it is his friggin sideline. Jocks to socks baby, can't wait to see him there this Sunday hopefully.

I like Parcells, but how did that all work out against the Seahawks...worst secondary in the league and he made Romo a bus driver when he could have ripped that secondary to shreds. Parcells at that point was just to old, but I sure did enjoy his press conferences, best press conferences ever by a football coach.

This article is reassuring. I know I'm in the minority here, but while I was watching our victory slip away last Sunday I thought to myself "if only Jerry had visited the sideline we might have held on for the win." Thank you, Jerry.

During his tenure as owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones became a fixture on the sidelines late in games at old Texas Stadium. Jones curtailed the trips during the Bill Parcells era, though he did talk to Hall of Famer Larry Allen during a game.

But Jones said his sideline trips might start again with Jason Garrett as the head coach.
