Some folks might agree with what he's saying, but they'll hate that he's the one saying it...

It's wild that this guy doesn't have anyone in his circle of people who trusts who can tell him to shut up already. But money talks I suppose.

"Jerry Jones: "Certainly 5-5 is not acceptable." But we could've won four of those five we lost"

This is main problem. Totally delusional.
Is it really delusional? Except for the Saints game, the Cowboys have been in every game they've lost. They spit the bit which got them the L, but they haven't been getting blown out.

Nothing like our owner letting the rest of the league know our strategy.

Is it strategy when even a five year old can see the need for those changes?

I heard him this morning and the fans that called in were absolutely disgusted and angry with what came out of his mouth. I get the feeling that even if Jerry Jones were to do something right, it wouldn't matter to most fans because we are all so sick of him.

I used to care so much about this team, bled blue, always held out hope they'd turn it around.

That has been completely shot, I'm about as apathetic as I've ever been. There is no solution in sight, our problems are so deeply rooted throughout the organization 'from socks to jocks' - that barring a miracle, we won't be in another Super Bowl for years to come.

We've severely overrated the talent of this team.

I used to think we had a 'top heavy' roster with no real help, now I'm noticing even our 'studs' are pretty average when you look around today's NFL.

Yeah Jerry we could be 9-1 using your insane logic, but we could've also lost to the Vikings and had the Giants not given us that game we could be 3-7 you insane old drunk.

Man coverage without a passrush is what got Ryan fired, good call on that one coach Jerry

He's correct. When you can't get a pass rush, you have to play more man-to-man. That's Defensive Football 101.

What got Ryan fired was that he would often try to outsmart himself and they were also decimated with injuries. The safeties last year made Jeff Heath look like Ronnie Lott. Tough to play defense whenever a WR catches a pass that the safeties can't make simple tackles.

WoodysGirl -- True, however, isn't the case for most games in the NFL? There aren't a lot of blow-outs -- most fans in most NFL cities can look at all of their losses and say "we were in this game -- we <could> have won it if A, B, or C happened/didn't happen".

The good teams find a way to win those game. The bad team typically find a way to lose them.

nice title WG. everytime i listen to him talk i get more depressed. especially when he gets into X's and O's.

What did he say that was so offensive to you?

He started talking X's and O's and what we need to do coming out of the bye. Talked about playing more man than zone since the dline pressure isn't getting there.

Noooooooooooooooooo crap.

I can't speak for most NFL cities. I can only speak for Dallas, so I don't want to speak in generalities. They were in every game, so technically he's right, even if it doesn't change the reality.

Don't thank me. I stole it from one of the tweets. Something to warn folks on what to expect in the thread.
