Just saw on espn the skins are shutting down rg3.
Most likely Cousins will have a record breaking game against us. Here's to 7-9
 
We'll make him look like Brees, Peyton and Brady all rolled into one.
 
I think we'll take care of business this week with no Rodgers at home. 8-8 minimum. I wouldn't be surprised if we eeked out the division, but I would still hate where this team is at. Just a complete mess right now on defense.
 
If Cousins does really well you've got to wonder what Washington will do going forward. Shop Cousins I suppose?

The worst thing that could happen for RG3 at this point is for Cousins to come in and play extremely well. That will help Mike cause he can say he didn't want RG3 to begin with and some foolish team will give him another shot.
 
List of backup QBs who have SHREDDED this defense:

1. Matt McGloin
2. Luke McCown
3. Christian Ponder (yes, technically he is a "starter", but the writing is on the wall for him he will eventually be a career backup)

i shudder to think what Cousins will do. Get the lube ready

But go ahead and keep telling those lies.
 
I think it makes the Commanders game harder for sure. I bet Commanders come out fired up to play with cousins and with the fact that they could take us out of the hunt for the playoffs. Well if we beat the packers anyway.
 
The Commanders are terrible.

No doubt Cousins will put up numbers but they have very little talent on that offense outside of Morris.

The Commanders are in trouble. They've a head coach that is openly feuding with the owner, a franchise QB who can't read a defense and an owner that is actually worse than ours.

Oh and they gave away their 1st round pick which is going to be a top 3 selection if not #1 overall.

This team is mediocre but still has an outside shot at the division in spite of it. The Commanders are a dysfunctional joke.

McGloin was 18/30 255yds 0 TD 1 INT 82.7
Ponder was 25/37 236 1 TD 1 INT 73.6

Those are good numbers, but hardly shredding us. Yes, we have been lit up by a number of QB's, but you can't include those two. That's not to say, of course, that Cousins won't do the same to us, although they don't have the WR's that teams like Denver, NO, and Chicago do.
 
This team quit on the coach. If Shanny was fired, then I could see a team playing more inspired. This team has gone fishing mentally.
