Call a blitz beater, not slow developing routes. Terrible scheme.

It drives me nuts. I'll never get why we don't run quick pass plays. It's almost always long, drawn out plays.

Yep. A quick slant wins on that route. With Dez, easy money. But, Dez was running towards the sideline not even in position to turnaround to look for the ball by the time the play ended.
