I will not be surprised if Tony Romo starts Sunday

You obviously don't know what a herniated disc is.

You obviously don't know much about me. Ever hear of a slipped disc? A herniated disc is a very painful rupture of the fibrocartilage of the disc between spinal vertebrae. Usually occurs in the lumbar region. Guess how I know? Enlighten me on your psychic powers

Some of you guys are funny. Romo is not playing, Garrett isn't going to come out on Monday and declare Romo out so the Eagles can prepare.

And maybe to send a message to the team, if they know Romo is out it would be a tough week to prepare, maybe he is giving them a little hope.

I can only wish you are right but I really think you are wrong, Schefter rarely misses.

Hey, it does look like he is out Sunday.. Just giving this the eyeball test. And the fact is that Romo is one tough hombre.

Amazing that Romo played almost the whole game with that injury. Anybody who still questions this guy's commitment and toughness just doesn't get it.

I've had back surgery L5 S1 or the other way around. Sometimes it hurt so bad you couldn't even stand up. After 3 or 4 days it usually would start going back in to place. Can't see him being able to handle the Eagle blitz that will be coming at a wounded Romo.
Can Orton move at all or is he a pocket QB?

Of course he is, I'm just torn right now.

I'm not a huge fan of Romo, but the fact that he played through that injury, and how well he played down the stretch, really shows me how tough of a guy he is.

he may never be the same again, he is older, this might be it for him

I have a lot of respect for the dude that he played through that on Sunday....tough as nails....hope his surgery goes well and he recovers quickly.

there is the 1% that tells me there is a smidgen of a chance that he can play....we'll wait for the final verdict later this week....depressing regardless....

I think he plays Sunday, just my opinion.. I saw him play with broken ribs & a punctured lung in early games in 2011, so I definitely wouldn't bet against him trying to play in a game where the season is actually on the line.

People don't seem to realize the skill that Tony brings until he is not able to lead the team.

this is not an injury you can simply rub dirt on

He is tough as nails. That's it. God speed on healing the injury

He is a tough SOB no doubt, but if he is having sciatic nerve issues he needs to get hat fixed. Having had that pain myself, it is crazy to think he kept playing and played well.

Don't know if Eatman has special sources but he's still holding out hope Nick Eatman ‏@nickeatman 2h
Absolutely no disrespect to anything that has been reported… I'll just believe it when I see it

I think there is hope. Espn rushed a story that might not be 100% factual after hearing JG's press conference. Not ruling him out with season ending back surgery makes me believe they think there is a possibility of him playing. He wants to be out there and he is as tough as they come.
