The Lions can finish 2nd in the North with a win Sunday. So we could still play the Lions next year. Moot point because the Cowboys are winning Sunday Night.

But didn't we play there in 2012?

Yes we did but that was because we finished in the same place as them from the 2011 season.

-2011 season we played the entire NFC West. (Played Seattle at home)
-2012 season we played the same place finisher from the west in 2011 and it was Seattle on the road.
-2013 season we played the same place finisher from the west in 2012 and it was St. Louis at home.
-2014 season we will play the entire NFC West. (Will play Seattle on the road because we played them at home in 2011)
-2015 season we will play the same place finisher from the west in 2014 on the road.

Yes I have a lot of time on my hands :D

Wow, talk about a brutal schedule. The only "easy" game is the jaguars, even the Titans will be a tough opponent for us.

Why does it seem like we play the saints every year. At least we're not playing in their dump of a stadium

No dates but here are home and away games.

Home: Eagles, Skins, Giants, Cardinals, 49ers, Texans, Colts , and either the Panthers or Saints.

Road: Eagles, Skins, Giants, Rams, Seahawks, Titans and Jaguars (In London), and either the Bears or Packers on the road.

We also know the Jaguars game will be in London on November 9th, that our bye week will be the following week November 16th, and that on Thanksgiving we will play one of the following teams on FOX. Washington, New York, Philadelphia, Arizona, San Francisco, and whomever we face between Carolina and New Orleans on November 27th.

How do we end up going to Seattle again?!?!?
When we played the NFC West in 2011 we played the Seahawks at home. This one means a shift to Seattle. next time we play the NFC West we will again play the Seahawks at home. In 2012 when we played them it was because we finished the same place as they did and the schedule dictated that the NFC East Teams went to the NFC West same place finisher locations. The next time we face the NFC South in 2015 the NFC East Teams will host the NFC West teams. So if we finish in 2014 the same as the Seahawks they will come here in 2015. The entire schedule is rotational and this is how it rotates for us in facing them.

There aren't nearly as many terrible teams in the NFL as their used to be. Every season is likely going to look tough going into the off season preceding it.
What? Almost half the league is awful.

Buf, NYJ, Cle, Hou, Jax, Ten, Was, NYG, Oak, Minny, Det, STL, Tampa, and ATL are all just bad, bad teams.

That is what I am talking about. Bring dallas to detroit next year if we lose Sunday
Still believe in a win

Way too early too look at this, but we all do it anyway. Even if some they don't, they do. IMO anyway, they do, maybe just don't post it.
Now anything can and does happen from year to year. I'll re-evaluate after the draft, FA, TC's.

Division rivals don't scare me any, even if Eagles beat us Sunday, they still don't scare me. We are 5-0 against them right now. Cards, 49ers look tough and are, but they are home games, Texans, who knows, but looks to be a win as of today. And the Colts won't be a give me type game. Saints play bad on the road, Panthers look really good.

On the road. Seahawks extremely tough, but Cards went there and beat them. Rams will tough on the road, But we play them well usually. Titans, Jags, nothing to worry about there, based on this year.. But at Bears or Packers, very tough too.
I would like to see how we are against the Bears in warmer weather, but that still should not be an excuse for playing so horrible.

I usually predict an 8-8 season until they show me otherwise, so am sticking to that, 8-8 or 9-7 if healthy for once.

That home schedule is brutal, have to figure the texans with a top pick and a new coach will turn it around. We could be looking at 2-6 at home next year.

Some what harsh schedule but in football anything can happen, never a for sure game since stuff can change the so fast. I am looking forward to seeing the Boys goto England and may travel down again for a home game depending on when we play the Texans

I'm confused. You honestly don't believe our 8-8 streak under garrett is solely because of him, do you?...
