I don't think we should have gone for it on 4th and 1, but if you're going to go for it, the pass was the right call just not to the flat. The Cowboys showed no ability to run it up the middle so the Eagles weren't really worried about the middle of the defense. The Cowboys tendencies were to run wide, which is why the Eagles defender was there to break up the pass.

We were just too predictable. We should have done a play-action pass. Still, I think it was an awful decision to go for it there.

He killed his own team on that last drive. McCoy sliced through the defense, then he went too cute. This guy just now, in this last series, went straight coaching and rode McCoy straight up the interior, from the same look they were getting killed with, because they were trying to get cute.
