Orton played a great game but missed some big ones... If the defense played the way they did and Romo was at the helm we would have won...

With that clean pocket and that Eagles game plan, Romo would have thrown for like 400 yards.
Romo would've done nothing as usual. He would've missed Dez deep, tried to run around and fall on 4th down under the blitz where Orton stays in the pocket and delivers to Dez for a touch down. Orton hasn't been playing for 7 straight years like Romo has. Give Orton a complete year, then you can talk ****.
He also could've thrown 2-3 interceptions like he often does in these do or die games. Guess we'll never know though. But he's 1-6 record in such games leads to believe we would've lost somehow.

I agree. Romo holds the ball much longer than orton. The offense looked more organized and looked like everyone on the same page. Only 1 penalty and it was a clock error so really no penalties.Orton missed some throws. But from what I've seen, Romo probably wouldn't have even attempted some of the throws Orton missed.
I didn't like Orton's limitations, but I actually preferred the way he played the game.
Took shots down the field. Made quicker reads that were usually correct. Used a hard count to make situations more manageable, and overall had better situational awareness than we're used to.
Just threw it behind receivers on two throws.
