Romo would've won it

Orton missed some throws. But from what I've seen, Romo probably wouldn't have even attempted some of the throws Orton missed.

I didn't like Orton's limitations, but I actually preferred the way he played the game.

Took shots down the field. Made quicker reads that were usually correct. Used a hard count to make situations more manageable, and overall had better situational awareness than we're used to.

Just threw it behind receivers on two throws.

Riiiiggghtt. If romo had the exact game you and all the usuals would be crying like babies lollll

Romo would've done nothing as usual. He would've missed Dez deep, tried to run around and fall on 4th down under the blitz where Orton stays in the pocket and delivers to Dez for a touch down. Orton hasn't been playing for 7 straight years like Romo has. Give Orton a complete year, then you can talk ****.

until today, 27 was the fewest points we scored at home, and that was the only game under 30 at home.

your agenda is comical.

Orton played a great game but missed some big ones... If the defense played the way they did and Romo was at the helm we would have won...

I think a healthy Romo would've won tonight but orton did not do a bad job. He really just threw the one pick. Overall he made quite a few passes that kept us in the game. The D stepped up for us tonight but we turned the ball over and settled for FGs instead of TDs. That ending was brutal but I'm not gonna kill Orton tonight. Overall, he was part of the reason we had a chance. it really is a shame this had to happen. The guys most certainly didn't quit on their coach (who i don't love) for whatever that's worth. OL was much better that any of us thought it would be this year. Hopefully we have a great offseason and contend next year.

OMG the romo lovers never stop.. For all we know we might have gotten blown out with romo in there. If you want whats best for this franchise for the future pray that romo retires and orton is our starter going into next year.

Hahahahahaha! Where the heck do you people come from?

I'm not so sure about that. We don't know how he would have played, or what reads he would have seen. I've watched him snatch defeat from the jaws of victory too, and he get paid a whole lot more to do it.

SAY IT AGAIN!

I agree. Romo holds the ball much longer than orton. The offense looked more organized and looked like everyone on the same page. Only 1 penalty and it was a clock error so really no penalties.

I think they planned conservative in the beginning, which is why they went with Murray a lot. But when they got down, they resorted to the same tendencies. The second quarter was a rehash of the Green Bay game, cause GB started playing man. They started getting in a lot of 3rd and longs and were the exact same replica.

A perfect example of what it's like to be a ten percenter. I won't pile on because its gotta be tough enough being you believing what you do in the face of all reason.

A lot of fans were concerned about orton mobility. But if you don't hold the ball so long and or throw the hot route u beat the blitz without having to run all over the place.

I would like to think but I don't know. We definitely put up 30 points but does the defense play the same way. It's just too hard to say Romo definitely wins this game. We are just snakebit, have too much bad luck IMO no matter what the scenario is. Who's to say if Orton gets us in FG range, we have some other miscue like a penalty or a turnover or a missed FG. We were just destined to lose and always are. I wouldn't have been surprised if Bailey misses the FG or some botched snap or some weird crap that always happens to us in those situations.

The hard count bought us some first downs, and Romo needs to make use of that.

What we didn't do tonight with Orton that we have been doing consistently with Romo is finish drives.

Jason Garrett "we're very close".

The Cowboys are no better than the 9th best team in the NFC, and maybe not even that, but they're "close".

I don't know about that. Orton made some smart decisions that Romo would have forced.

In any event, unless that time machine you bought on eBay is in working condition, we'll never know.

My only consolation in this awful loss is seeing you yet again showing your utter blindness and ignorance. Congrats!

Team scored 34 per game at home this year with Tony, so there is a substantial difference.

Romo would've won it, easily, but it doesn't matter because he didn't. A good HC would've also won it today, but yah, we definitely don't have one of those.

Orton played good enough to win though, we should've won this game.

That's so cute ....

It's not like we don't have a mountain of evidence about what happens in a game like this.
