that rule hasn't applied in years, a team can refuse to let them go. Cowboys refused to let Sparano leave ay one time I believe.

No I know the rules maybe you should read them. The promotion rule was killed in 2011. Only time you have to let a coach leave now is for Head coach.

All assistant coaches are now the same. Coordinators, position coaches, and even position assistants are considered the same. If any are under contract they cannot leave unless given permission or for a a head coaching gig.

seriously, lovie grew up outside of dallas, is a hardcore cowboys fan, and averages more wins a season (with rex grossman) than jason has ever attained in a season. this man should have been our head coach.

it's sickening how everyone is improving but us....this conference is going to be a problem the next few years.

Everybody's getting better except us? Really? Everybody? I swear, somebody say this every year, yet a bunch of teams, every year, end up being worse than the year before. Just making changes in the offseason doesn't make you better. Would I like to see us make some changes? Sure. Wouldn't automatically make us better. Just means we'd have a better shot of winning the offseason. And last I checked, there is still about 7 months to go in the offseason. Some teams aren't even there yet.

. One thing is for certain, efforts are being made inTampa Bay. It is much better than sticking with average because so much has been invested in training the head coach.
