This is the first time in a long time that I felt we actually beat the Eagles. Two years ago when we won at home I didn't really feel that we won the game. This time we definitely dominated. No doubt about it. Wow

it seems that the game we won against them in 2003 (23 to 21) should have been played this year with the barrage of last-second heart attack games we've recieved so far this year

Good point. You, like me, live in the area. The refrain in 2003 was that the Eagles blew the game with the onsides kick. This game was never in doubt. It was complete domination.

So the question remains, are we a great team who made a few key mistakes against the Commanders and Raiders? Or, are the Eagles just another mediocre team with a few lucky breaks against the Raiders and Chiefs?

Either way, WIP is going to be a joy this week !

We are a good team. We just played a tough schedule. If we started 2-3 with the first 5 games that's a good start. Every team we've played so far is playoff caliber. And that stretch doesn't end here. Next 2 games will be tough wins. When we play the stretch of Seattle, Arizona, @ Philly, Detroit, and Denver we need to win 4 out of 5 IMO. If we do that then we are gonna see a playoff bid for sure.
