That's his official Twitter account. No one else has reported it though, not a single reporter or anything.

Love the signing though, big time but we gotta check the numbers out.

Adam Schefter is reporting it. He's about as legit as there is out there.

Seriously, that's a great point. I love that we have the flexibility now to either take an offensive player, safety, or trade back a bit.

W/out Melton or Allen, we essentially had to take a DT or DE

I don't agree. You're probably right in that's what they would do, but they are also a terrible drafting team. You never have to take anything in the draft.

If the Cowboys didn't make another signing after the first three stooges and drafted Mosley in the 1st round I wouldn't have had any problem with it. Value over need in the draft.

Yes, but now we get "will this cost us Aaron Donald?" posts.

Hopefully those people realize that Donald may very well not make it to us, and this allows us to go in another direction if necessary. Seems like a number of teams are totally falling in love with him.

'meh, there's just a segment of the fan base that cries out in agony at the 1st sign of ...

...um...

well, just about anything.

I'm not that guy and if you followed my posts at all you would see that I'm pretty moderate and positive, not the most moderate or positive but not the worst either. But when I saw more than 9mill / year for someone coming off acl surgery, I freaked. I apologize if i offended your sensitive parts but I was stunned.

Not a surprise that Melton is not returning to #Bears and they need to fill in around vets in place with promising draft picks.
I was told Melton was seeking $4 million per year. Will be interesting to see what the numbers are when they come out.
Disappointing thing for #Bears was they could not lock up Melton last year and avoid franchise tag.
#Cowboys should be a very good landing spot for Henry considering Marinelli was the one who moved him from end to tackle within weeks.

$4 mill seems real low ball but wouldn't be surprised by anything after what Commanders paid hatcher for one good year

This guy has future suspension written all over him and I wouldn't have been unhappy if the team went in a different direction but if this is true I'll be cheering for the man to excel.

I hope it isn't a long term deal. He's coming off an injury I hope we make him prove it or make it incentive laden.

If we signed him in the $4-5M range, it is good. Most contracts these days are two years. That is what to watch for, the first two years and guaranteed money. Most teams are structuring them to be able to get out after that.

Depends on the contract details. I need to see guarantees and signing bonus before I say I like or dislike.
