A lot of simplification going on here. First if all this isn't the same skins under Shanny. Jay Gruden always has run a quick read West Coast offense. They run pretty well and he made Dalton a 3 time playoff guy. Does this mean Desean is a great add? I don't have that answer but he is us still a dangerous guy who improves a team when you look at their weapons and compare it to what Cincy was doing. A Cincy hallmark was short passes and guys getting yards after the catch. DJ fits that.

That's not true. He's had some big games against the Cowboys. He's been hit or miss but his impact is always felt. You have to account for him on every play.

I hate RG3 as much as anyone, but RG3 is a damn accurate passer. Fell just short of the highest completion precentage ever for a rookie, and still had 60% rate last year when he clearly wasn't himself or fully healthy.

As we all know stats can be misleading. He was in a very "RG3 friendly" offense as a rookie and really wasn't asked to make the hard throws that the high tier QBs in the league are asked to make. And he looked me straight doo doo this past year.

also, I gotta assume that Jackson wants to play for the Commanders more than they want him....he can still hang with his cru since Washington is so close to philly, I can't imagine that they would let him "out" so easily so coming to Washington solves all of that

You act like he was only throwing 5 yard hitches all day his rookie year....he had the highest completion percentage for passes downfield in the league I believe. I specifically remember him doing it to us on thanksgiving. He did look crappy last year, but something tells me it had more to do with not actually being healthy and forcing himself on the field. I think this season will reveal if his rookie season was for real or not. And honestly, I hate to say it but DeSean Jackson would probably only help him look better than he is.

No bout adoubt it. There will be at least 3 Safeties brought in here to compete. FAs, Rookie FAs and Draft Picks maybe 4 or 5 more bodies and one could stick, believe it or not one could start.


Thinking Dallas Drafts at least 1 Safety in the mid-late rounds, not sure how they get around that with the position going deep in the Draft.
