Happy with our 7th round picks. Wonder how that OLB we drafted in the 4th will do. Martin will be a staple on the OL. Demarcus will be a big contributor this year and a starter at RDE definitely next year. I like the WR we drafted in the 5th. Some great 7th round selections. So happy about Bishop. The CB we drafted had a 3rd/4th round grade. Sucks losing the 3rd but it was necessary to get our guy. Overall, I'm happy. I'd give our draft a B+/A-

I actually was really looking forward to the 7th rounders. Seems like every year there are a half dozen guys people are saying were 3-5 round values inexplicably dropping to the 7th, and this was no exception.

Personally, I don't "hate" it, but I view him as a later round talent. He is a Cowboy now, so I will root hard for him.

I think they feel obligated to pull a name out of a hat in the 4th round. I am fine with every other pick. I actually just asked Fisher on Twitter if they were looking at Dixon just before they took him. That was one of my favorite picks of the day. Throw depth at the Dline and let it work itself out. Zack Martin was a great pick with Barr and Donald gone. I know they overspent a little in the trade up for Lawrence put I think it was necessary. Street is a better route running Terrance Williams, both Gardner and Bishop were needed. Both LBs are special teamers. Mitchell was rated as a 5 by some so good value. The 4 is puzzling but overall great haul IMO

If Demarcus Lawrence is the pass rusher the Cowboys hope, the trade will be good. Dallas would have had to take either Trent Murphy or Kony Ealy instead of Lawrence if they didn't pull off this trade, and I don't see either being the same edge presence.
