Stanley Cup Finals 2014

Cool.

I just give LA credit instead of saying Rangers are playing crappy. The Rangers are up against it.

Is Nash the least useful player in Stanley Cup playoff history? Certainly relative to in-season salary he would be, but i have to think hes number one salary aside.

Brad Richards is worse...unfortunately, they just both happen to be on the same roster lol

I think playing in Columbus all those years on such terrible teams really killed Nash's competitive streak.

I think nash showed his worth when he signed that contract in Columbus. Hes a loser. Hes great at racking up points in the Worlds against team Italy though.

3-0

Now THAT was crappy lol

3-0 game
Down 3-0 in series.

Sweep!
The result sucked, but they outplayed LA.

Quick got a couple of miraculous/lucky saves, the Rangers missed some opportunities, and every goal the Kings had was a lucky bounce, more or less. Two deflected off of Rangers and the third McD made a good play to break up the 2 on 1 and the buck just bounced right back to Richards.

Just not going to be the Rangers' series.

Shut out! Not out played. You are funny.

When you are good. Fortune favors you.

Sweep and end the rangers misery. Really shouldn't have been in finals anyway. Now it's showing.

The Rangers outshot the Kings 32-15

Shots aren't always a good indicator of who controlled the game, but in this case, when shots were more than doubled, it paints a pretty clear picture. The Rangers blew it in games 1 and 2 with bad turnovers, and then couldn't finish in game 3.

Yeah but 2-1 shots on goal doesn't matter when you are quick lol

He has only three goals in the playoffs and all three were against Tokarski who was our third string goalie. He has not scored against a starter in these playoffs.

I hope the Rangers win Game 4 so the Kings can win on their home ice on Friday

It's a crazy sport. I felt the Rangers were better in the first two games and the Kings were better in the second two. The outcomes didn't indicate that. It's a shame it's not 2-2 right now but I'll take a win and continue to hope for a miracle comeback. It's nice to know we came back from being down 3-1 to the Penguins, but we need to play significantly better than we did tonight to pull that off again.

Quit D riding the whole "Price was injured" thing. It had absolutely nothing to do with the series. I've never seen someone so butthurt.

The Rangers played some of their worst hockey in the second half of that game. I wonder if they ran out of gas. I really wanted the cup to be raised in New York.

Well it is funny how RangerFan loved to state how we were taught to embellish, were coached that way, yet this series, it is has been the Rangers diving like Greg Louganis and I haven't heard a peep out of you re that.

Just shows that ALL teams embellish at times, it is not some evil corporate culture the "frogs" teach their players.

.

Sure thing Man. The Canadians don't have a rep across the league and they are not worse than any other team.

Got it.

They do look dead out there, but the win last night might give them some life.

He was injured. If you had lost Henry, it would be the same for you. Doesn't really matter, we would likely be in the same position as the Rangers in the Final.

Tokarski was outstanding, and Price's injury had nothing to do with the results of the series. The fact that they had no answer for the Ranger speed and Subban was gassed every game was far more important. If you fail to recognize that, its just your bias speaking.

Agreed. Both game 1 and 2 were there for the taking. Should be 3-1 Rangers. Maybe it would have led to them sweeping.
