Why can't AT&T Stadium show Cowboys away games?

Also cost. There was an article, that Cowboys Stadium [before it became At&T] the electric cost more in one game, or was it in a month, or something like that, than was it Libeya used in a year. Or one game to a month that Libeya used. That would be a lot of concession sales for such an event. I don't think it would be cost effective.

you would have to pay for the rights to broadcast it in the stadium. that would drive up the cost. an nba arena is nothing like an nfl stadium and i don't see people paying 50 bucks or so to watch a game they could watch on tv for free. and i think the cost would be that high because you would have to pay for the right to broadcast, pay staff and security. and the staff is a ton of people at the stadium which is expensive. just don't think it would work. now maybe playoff or super bowl type game you could but an nba arean is so much smaller and more intimate.
by the time you paid to park and a ticket to get in it would be very expensive for something free

The only way they could do it is if it was a nationally televised game, (non cable), while there are no other NFL games going on. The only games that would qualify is the Super Bowl and perhaps the Conference Championship games. But then you know how the NFL goes after chruch groups who want to show the Super Bowl at the church after Sunday service.

Only way I could see Jerry opening up for a watch party is if the Cowboys were in the Superbowl. I am sure if this was the case the stadium would do huge numbers

I think you are wrong. The NFL team can TV in their games. Admission and parking fees may be a sticking point.
They can always block off a large area and keep the crowd contained.
Just put it on one side of the jumbo tron.

i would think as long as you pay for it there would be no issues at all. don't see how you could really make it profitable for regular season games though. maybe playoffs or super bowl
