If ever you're wanting to go to a game, and you know which one you want to go to, let me know in March. I'd be more than happy to give you the season ticket holder code for the pre-sale tickets so you won't have to pay above face value.
Face value from the cowboys for non season ticket holders is still around $200 per ticket if i remember correctly. I was looking at some a few years ago since I was bringing a group of 4 of us and I only have 2 tix. We wanted to sit together. Before the ticketmaster convenience fees and such, they were $179 for 400 level mid field.

Keep in mind, that if you see tickets for $200, that means the seller listed them at around $160. That still may seem excessive when the face value of the ticket is $94. But personally, I pay about $550/year for the PSL payment. And my tickets are about $1900. That's $2450 a year for 2 tix and 8 regular season games. That comes out to around $153.13 per ticket. So, it's not quite the fleecing that it seems at times.

Living in Oregon, I try to make enough money to cover a trip or 2 to dallas on a tight budget to watch my beloved cowboys. More often than not, I go home a tad bit disappointed, but the home opener last year helped immensely.

Good luck on your ticket search! If you PM me any game that you'd like to attend, I can save us both some serious buyer/seller fees and ensure that a cowboys fan is in my seats when I'm not.
Do either of you know any loopholes concerning resale tickets? I've spent over a grand for three (resold) tickets already (49ers/section 219). The wife may push me to get two tickets for the Saints game. I will be overjoyed if I can keep both games under two grand. I'm most likely out of luck but it can't hurt to ask. :)

Unfortunately, there's no easy way around it. I'll probably be looking to off-load my Saints tickets though (will be out of town).

Thanks for replying. Are your Saints seat tickets in the either 100's or 200's sections? My wife is not a big football fan. She loves John Elway and that's about it (lol), but she and girlfriends attend at least one game a year in the Superdome. The tickets are cheaper there and have spoiled her. She treated me to the Cowboys/Saints game last year. Our seats were nine rows up from the field on the 40 practically behind the Cowboys bench. Those are the types of seats she's used to. She's not getting comparable seats in ATT Stadium for the same price, that's for sure.

I bought seats for the Giants game last year for my brother, best friend and me in section 419. I loved them. You really get a good view of the field from anywhere in the stadium but I know she will hate sitting in the 300's or 400's. To her, there is no real difference in ticket prices between stadiums--even though the ONLY stadium she's experienced is the Superdome. Wish I could get Jerry to talk with her about ticket prices (lol). Still, I gotta appease her as best as possible or I'll NEVER hear the end of it.:)

Im a Falcons season ticket holder( I bought a car and it came with the tickets) so Im selling them for every game this year. Anyways, the cheapest seat at the Ga Dome is $35 face value. Most games the seats are 40-50 buck range. So less then half the cheapest seat at ATT.

Cowboys tickets in general are just crazy.

Living in Atlanta, the Titans are the closest they will come this year. The Titans play Houston October 26th, cheapest seat available: 24.90. The Titans play the Steelers Monday night football, cheapest seat: 75.
Titans play the Cowboys @ noon, cheapest seat? $111.

So in summary, almost 6 times more expensive than a division rivalry game. And almost $40 more than another major team on a MNF game. It's just crazy how much more Cowboys games are.

When they came to Atlanta in 2012, the upperdeck seats that start at $35 face value were $130+.

I've watched the cowboys play in a few different stadiums and it is always the most expensive ticket of the season. I had tampa bay season tix a few years back too and the only tix I got more than face value for were the cowboys. I'm in no way a bucs fan, just saw them a team on the rise and got a good opportunity to get some really great seats and a favorable home schedule. Turns out, I don't know as much as I think sometimes, but that's a different story.
