Gotta love Dez's ability as well as his competitive spirit. Nevertheless, trash talk is still just that, though. To be sure, I'm confident he'll back it up with his performance and in the end, let's face it, that's all that really counts.

I remember after we drafted him the speculation of when he would become top 3 or top 5 in the league. That time has come. He's got his eyes set on #1 if he keeps progressing the way he is.

If he gets extended before Christmas, I'm getting a #88 jersey for me and my son and putting them under the tree. The backup plan is birthdays are in the spring. :)

I think I need to do the same. My boy doesn't have any jerseys yet.

The great thing about Dez isn't the trash talk, it's that he backs it up. I really hope this guy doesn't wither away on a mediocre team his whole career like Witten has had to, we gotta let him get more chances at the playoffs.

The most electric and passionate player on our team for sure. I don't get jerseys very often, but I made sure to own a Dez jersey.

I wonder if Jerry could envision jersey sales sans Dez. He is the pulse and life blood of this team. So much respect for the effort he has put in improving himself on the field and off. Truly a guy with a massive heart.

What's really nice to see is the way he's challenging his teammates to match his competitiveness. It's obvious he's kicked that up another notch and really stepped forward as the leader on this team that his play warrants.

Been saying it for a while, he is the best on this team. We do nothing, or go nowhere without this guy.

To damn dynamic

Love this guy! I hope he can spread the fire to all the young players. We need more leaders like Dez.

He definitely has. When's the last time we saw our Cowboys this feisty and hungry at TC?! This def ain't "Camp Cupcake" any more!

To the corner defending him: "I don't know your name, but you know mine"

He is becoming a leader like Michael Irvin before our eyes. If you ever read Boys Will Be Boys and the legendary Irvin challenging defensive backs, including Deion, in practice, you know a major reason why that team won, and this team eventually will.

Dez sets the pace for the team and is their heart. Tony is the ultimate leader. This franchise needs a defensive leader who can stay on the field and get these guys mind's right about work, dedication, sacrifice and winning.
