Ok i know we have only been in year 2 of the move back to the 4-3 but Man this crap is not hacking it. we don't have RUSH MEN let alone a RUN MAN. we need to move to a hybrid style of Defense and let our DE/OLBs do what they do best and Run after the QB... Heck id be ok with bring back Wade phillips to run this defense.

Op, we don't have the personnel for the 3-4 either.

No nose tackle or DEs and our DEs couldn't hack it as OLBs. I mean the reason Selvie can produce is because of marinelli's simplified rush men ideas.

Remember, no Ratliff or Brent, spencer or ware, even Lissemore is gone as well as hatch spears Coleman etc.

Baltimore's offensive line was not bad and Crawford, Selvie, Mincey, and Coleman all got pressure rushing 4. They only did one line stunt with the 1's. Two more for the rest of the game.

Boatright, Wilson, Minter, and Bush provided rush as well.

Our guys look much better executing and picking up receivers in zones. Mitchell almost got that interception. Flacco threw several balls away without finding an open receiver.

Our guys in general are making plays on the ball. McClain forced a fumble. Wilcox knocked the ball loose that Webb was fighting Steve Smith for. Minter with the sack strip. We had 3 sacks 3 TFL 5 PD 3 QB hits.

This was not the week to bash the defense. The defense showed up last weekend. They may not ever show up again but they made a lot of plays vs Baltimore.
