So what did Dallas do to prevent Tannehill from missing Wallace who was 15 yards past Scandrick? What positive can the team garner from that and replicate for future games?

My whole point is it doesn't matter if it's preseason or regular season, he still missed the pass regardless. That's just the benefit of playing against an average quarterback. We play against Brady and that probably wouldn't happen. But the score would still matter.
