News: Dan Bailey has just become the most accurate kicker in NFL history.

Said it in the game day thread, if not for Bailey I wonder if we're not a perennial 5-11 team rather than an 8-8.

He's being an enabler for our mediocrity.

And now that parity is a part if every day NFL life it is imperative that you have a good kicker and we have a great one!!!

I'm beginning to appreciate special teams more and more in this league of parity... that can be the difference maker for a lot of teams now it seems. And I'm glad we have a good ST unit.

He'd be 75-for-100 if the goal posts were four feet wide.

Dude is amazingly accurate.

Yes, I was telling my wife during the game, "Watch this kick, right down the middle."

She pointed out that it was slightly to the left of middle, but I love having a kicker who doesn't just barely make it inside the uprights. The only times we've seen Bailey do that is when we set him up too far to the left.

I think Vanderjagt was the #1 in history when we signed him. He went into pure meltdown mode. I don't think that will happen with Bailey.

I love Bailey and his accuracy, but I wish the Cowboys wouldn't meltdown with drive killing penalties and plays and rely less on Bailey.

Usually, it's the bad players that are considered enablers for mediocrity.

Is it just me, or is 100 attempts seem like a lot before we'll count your performance in the NFL? That's how many years into a kicker's career before you qualify for a ranking? 5-6?

He's been awesome. I love the kid. I hope he continues to kick this accurately for another 10 or more years.
