It's probably just coincidence that the things Garrett supporters have been saying for years about playing hard and building a team identity and it being a process and being patient while the team overhauls it's talent seems to just paying off. Garrett's obviously just been in the right place at the right time during all of this. Thank god we lucked into those coordinators.

Yea, because, you know, " any of 500 coaches "... would have done the same thing..

It's a process, huh?

Your analogies are quite hilarious.

By Linehan, I surely don't mean 8 year process of Garrett that resulted in him get duties stripped from him to the point all he does is clap and signal one-point conversions on TDs. Or with Jason bringing in guys like his brother, who become passing-game coordinator only to have us try force the ball to Kevin Ogeltree of all people. I surely don't mean getting into rifts with Callahan, whose OL and running game work are there to be seen.

By seeing how Linehan reacts, I mean a year or two when we play teams in our division for a second-time to see the changes they make and how, this team adjusts.

You know like we found out about Garrett in his second-year when he couldn't run the ball, didn't call play-action, didn't have men in motion, didn't run slants, sucked in the red-zone and so forth. Things that continued throughout his career until his Second Father finally stripped him of the duties.

It can take away a possible distraction. He can coach more relaxed.

Hey..

Relaxed is not where he needs to go..

..he has nothing to relax about.

I'd be mucho opposed to this until Garrett gets this franchise back into post season.

What is the urgency to do this now?

It's not like anybody is going to hire him away?

Even Princeton is not going to take him back.

It isn't now, it is by the bye week. The next 5 games before the bye week can make a big difference. They may be in a great position to make the playoffs after the next 5 games.

Got ya..

still..

I don't want a lick and a promise over this..

..we've been waiting like 17 years to win our next playoff game..

either Garrett does it this year or I say let him go.

Several of the assistant coaches on staff could also get this team to win with the players here now..

Garrett has no magic. He's not the difference-maker, folks.

Were you in a coma in 2009 when Dallas whooped the Eagles in the wild card round playoffs? Let's re-phrase to waiting 17 years to win a divisional round playoff game.

I guess my memory of the win was tempered..

by the 30+ point loss to the Vikings the next week.

Sorry.

It all gets so numbing as fans to have to endure the failures year after year.
