Colts win/loss and easy schedule

Highly functioning passing offense meets barely functioning passing defense, no way Dallas takes this game lightly. they're the AFC version of the Packers.

Hopefully their lack of strong running game allows us to whip up a game plan to slow down their passing attack.

Six games against the Titans, Jags and Texans help. When they played the top teams this year they got waxed.

But they will be a formidable opponent nevertheless.

Didn't they shut out a playoffs bound Bengals this season?

TY Hilton may be out with a hamstring injury he suffered yesterday.

They did beat the 9-4-1 Bengals 27-0 and the 8-5 Ravens 20-13. I wouldn't exactly call those easy wins. Certainly they are roughly equal to our two best wins.
Neither one of those teams has beaten a winning team outside of the AFC North.

We need the same blueprint against the Colts as the Patriots used against them. Basically it is our blueprint gash them with the run and keep them off the field.

I normally would love this matchup for Dallas, but coming off a big win vs the Eagles on Sunday night worries me.

TY Hilton too, I guess.

This part is accurate with his hamstring. Pagano said he will not be resting starters who can play, but if he is iffy, he might not make the game.

It should. There was a lot of high fiving and back slapping going on the sidelines, as if they had clinched the division.

The main positive is that the Colts have clinched their division and do not have a lot to play for other than positioning.

Wish NE and DEN played Saturday that way the Colts would know before the game whether they still had a chance for one of the top 2 seeds.

It would take a minor miracle for the Colts to leap over either one. The Patriots have the Jets and the Broncos have the Raiders left, about as close to locks as they get.

I've only seen one defensive game plan for most of this year: a soft zone with a 3-4 man rush.

Even positioning is questionable, as I believe they would need either Denver or N. E. to lose both of their games to get a higher seed. Their final two games are basically jostling with the North winner for position in the unlikely event that neither Denver nor N. E. is sitting there in the championship game.

Still, this is week 16 and not 17, and most teams will give it their all here. I really wish the Eagles were playing the Giants (the better of the two NFC East bottom feeders) next week and not in Week 17. The Giants will give it there all either way against their hated rivals, but no matter how much of a pro you are it's a different intensity when your golf clubs are in the trunk.

The Colts clinched their division. They will be in "don't get injured" mode.

Not really. The Packers can run the ball if they want to.
