Question: was the last game vs the Eagles considered a big game?

Yes it was a big win, against a hated rival while fighting for the division lead and a chance at the playoffs. Because we were able to win though it will be swept under the rug as not being important.

My definition of a big game is any game that improves the team's chances of winning a championship. So yes, that was a big game. Well, by that logic, so were the previous thirteen and the next two.

So we need to keep this as what, a running score? Of course it was. Win Romo. Next.

There's a formula to determine this. It's very complex and requires a number of steps.

Here's the first one: Win or loss?

Let's input a win into our calculation and see where it takes us.

Team Won. Sorry, this does not qualify for the big game descriptor due to winning. You're welcome to try again next week. Thank you for playing.

Well according to many fans .. It was a win in December so it doesn't count .. We beat a team with a winning record so that makes it a fluke .. Or lucky ..
(Sarcasm)

It WAS a big game because it helped to get us one win closer .. Need to win out and shut even more negative nancy nay Sayers up

It isn't an elimination game though. If the Deadskins beat the Eagles then the Cowboys can wrap it up Sunday. Now that will be big. lol

Somebody we be along in a minute to tell us we caught the eagles at the right time. :D

It doesn't matter to the people who don't Like Romo because they will always have an answer to fit their agenda. Just like they will say that about the people that support Romo.

The only big game that will shut them up is the Super Bowl. If Dallas wins it, then they will say that it was due to him handing off. :)

In my opinion it was a huge game. Just like Washington last season.

it was definitely a huge game.

i was very proud of this team.

hopefully we can eliminate philly from the playoffs sunday.

washington might rare up being at home and all.

then dallas will know all we got to do is win on sunday.

rest everybody against washington in the finale unless we are going for better seeding.

Because Tony Romo won this big game. I am just saying.

The short answer is YES!!!! Absolutely!!! Huge win for Romo and the team. The Seattle win was also Big...

The explanation why is over most casual fans heads though but let me break it down for you:

1) A Win against a team above .500, .600, .700+
2) Said defeated team has won more than 2-3 games and is typically in the postseason., ie true contender.
3) Late season playoff implication wins as opposed to wins against sub .500 teams during the first 8 games of the season.
4) Win or go home, season is now over scenarios are also "Big Wins."

2009 was the last year we did something "Big," 2014 has 2 Big Wins, and I believe a "Big Win" is upon us shortly vs Indy.....

Somebody we be along in a minute to tell us we caught the eagles at the right time. :D

And that the eagles let up after they got the lead...someone actually said that.

How many more big game question threads are going to continue to pop up?
