ESPN First Take, SAS wearing I love Jerry Jones t-shirt

Here's my problem with the Philly reaction. They are forced to give the Cowboys some respect but they are painting it as if Tony Romo has finally stepped up in the clutch. This is either lazy foolishness or an outright lie to discredit their hated rival. Tony Romo could have won a Championship 5 years ago. All this December crunch time stuff was nonsense. He didn't have the team.

Romo didn't do anything this year that he hasn't done before. The difference is his teammates are capable of carrying their weight too. At least enough of them are.

On a slightly related note, I'll give Stephen A. some credit for being the first guy in 12 years that I've heard question the Bungles and Marvin Lewis. More specifically, why doesn't anyone ever ask, "Why the heck is Marvin Lewis still the head coach of the Bengals?"

Stephen A. said Lewis should have to win a playoff game this year, and if he can't, he should be let go. I applaud him for saying what nobody else seems to want to say for some reason in regards to that topic.

Agree 100%

Romo: 18-20, 218 yds, 4 TD in 3 quarters.

That's what stands out in that pic.

I glanced around the iggles phan forum last night to see the reactions, and the general sentiment to explain Dallas's winning the division is one of two things:

1. Dallas is cheating. Don't ask me how, they're just cheating.

2. Posting a picture in every thread of Michael Irvin on a stretcher.

Eagles fans gonna be Eagles fans.

I've been reading and hearing a lot of "they'll go one and done" lately.

Okay. But that's still better than none and done.

And that's why their karma continues.

FWIW, Cris Carter pretty much said all of that on ESPN last night. Said that Tony didn't deserve the criticism in years past. I know other analysts have said the same thing, but I was a little surprised to hear Carter make those comments. For some reason I thought he was known as a "hater," but it's hard to keep all of that straight.
