Thought I would start a thread of just nice songs.

Here's one of my favorites from '78.

Luv this woman's voice. She dropped out of the record biz in the 80's/90's but with that voice she could have been huge. But I give her props for knowing what she did and did not want to pursue in life.

Regardless, they can't take this song from her...

Maybe it's the "old-man" coming out on me but people seemed much happier back then.

Here is another one. I have a million more, but I will leave it at these two for now, a difficult task for me. I am a walking library of music.:p

Good one, Michael. Anything by Anita Baker.:)

I can't help help it, I have two more that I really want to post. They are both so good.

This is Aloe Blacc. He is one of my favorites. His music is so chill and so great.

This is Roseanne's version of her daddy's song. I like her's better.

This is one of those songs I'll play on a jukebox and stump everyone with "Okay, who sings this?" :)

Such a sweetheart, such a lovely voice...so lovely...Sharon Van Etten just has a way of really emotionally impacting not just me but so many. We All Make Mistakes...

...a live version in which the audio is not so hot but, oh my.

I remember when she sang that song on an episode of Hawaii 5-0... never missed that show as a kid... Book 'em Dan-o...

Yep. Very little known about her.

I never knew she was Hawaiian.

She was a back-up singer for Clapton on a few tours and for quite a few albums...

You can really hear her vocals on his rendition of Marley's "I Shot the Sheriff"... and "Lay Down Sally"

I did not know that TB. I'll have to listen to those songs (again).
