Dallas Mavericks

The Rondo trade started the unraveling. They were pretty good before then.
What a disaster.
 
seriously though, in the NBA thread, we spoke about it.. injuries, chemistry.... things just went wrong... Dirks not even making open shots recently....
I'm not sure if they can turn it around this season... but at least Stat called them out...
 
The front office just frustrates me. They are becoming the anti-Cowboys when it comes to building the team with youth and coaching them up. Anybody that is young they trade away for vets. Sad thing is Carlisle is one of the best coaches in the league and I trust he can coach them up.
 
Losing their way out of the playoffs. Their next stretch of games is brutal
 
Mavs have looked strong the last couple of games, but they'll need much better rebounding if the are to do anything in the playoffs
 
The Mavs seem to be rounding into form at a good time. Hopefully they can keep it up.
 
I was courtside for Friday's game in San Antonio, and the Mavs looked terrible.
Dirk did not handle any one-on-ones, Rondo looked lost, Monta was out of control, Harris was ineffective, Chandler and Chandler couldn't find the bucket, there was no ball movement on offense, and everybody was just chasing on D.

It's clear that there is very little chemistry, and if the threes aren't falling, the ball isn't getting inside much.

Was very disappointed in the performance gap between these 2 teams.
