Always hurt. No more burst. Bottom of the barrel stuff. Pathetic.

Everyone here thought this guy sucked - so we still agree with that correct?

nope....now that he is our guy he is the best RB in the league :) /sarcasm

I just think the hurt over losing Murray has to die down. Lots of people in storm-the-castle mode over a guy who fumbled in the clutch and won't sniff 1,800 yards ever again.

Watching Murray in the press conferences and listening to him it was a money decision. Sure he will talk Eagles SB chances as air cover, but in his heart he became " show me the money"

Agree on your take , and I for one have moved on from the " soap opera" of Demarco Murray and where will he be.........

I would think this will be a low end contract. I'm glad it says pending physical.

Hopefully he doesn't tweak a hammy or something jumping on or off the table. All joking aside, the guy is "proven" starter in the league, which is a step up from the guys on the roster. Now more joking after watching the highlight reel, if we can only get the jets/jags/and broncos on the schedule for 16 games this guy will be super star.

I need to see the numbers too. McFadden on a cheap deal is fine. McFadden on a bad deal will make be go crazy.

I like it. I mean he has the ability to be really good IF he stays healthy and thats a big IF. I am sure they did not pay much so it is worth the gamble to see if he can have a healthy year. With this line he can get to the second level and be a home run hitter that DeMarco was not. We still need a tough yardage back but I have to say that I like this pickup. I guarantee you we did not spend much so the downside is low and the possibility for upside is high. Smart pickup.

I actually like this. He's good in pass protection and very good as a receiver. When he was healthy, he was productive despite having a terrible O-Line and no QB to speak of. I'd like to see Randle and Williams get some competition and I think there's no guarantee he makes the team as he's not a special teams player.

Remember when the Patriots picked up Blount and the world laughed? Or the Ravens with Forsett?

Face it guys.... I wanted AD. But if you're not getting a transcendent talent.... You go cheap there.

At least Darren has upside in that he was once considered supremely talented and is still young enough...

Still would have preferred Trent.

He has nothing left he was not injured last year and didn't produce but latavious Murray can come in and blow the door off...terrible moves by the front office...terrible

Latavious Murray had 82 carries last year. 68 of them came in the final 4 games of the season when he was the primary ball carrier and he averaged 3.8 ypc.

The only reason his ypc for the season is so high is because he had 2 games where he had 8 carries for 155.

The upside is it's a low cost, low risk move.

The downside is he is terrible and can't stay healthy. Kind of a pointless signing even it is doesn't cost much.

What if the upside is low cost and productive.

Downside low cost and gets cut after camp.

Wait...signing PENDING PHYSICAL.

Oh please...Please I hope the Cowboys doctors fail the physical due to him having a right rubber chicken leg or something...anything to void this signing.

The odds are good he could do a hammy in the hallway

Exciting news! This guy was a 1000 rusher.... 5 years ago.

;)

Other 1000 yard rusher 5 years ago.... Cedric Benson, Peyton Hillis, Michael Turner, and Rashard Menhenhall....

;)

I told you guys. this is a great move. and i have been one of the people who have been hard on Jerry and Stephen. McFadden running behind this line could be special.he can run between the tackles, and is a home run hitter.

He does run from contact which is a plus, I am sure its out of sheer survival but at least he does not seek out defensive players to hit.
